You been getting more snow than up here. We only got 6 inches yesterday but it was only 10 degrees; not the best temp for big snow fall. We do have 43 inches for the season........ so far; but none of it will melt until April.

I'll try to get a copy of the tune from CARTER, and post it.

I just had the Comp Cams 222º/224º .566"/.568" 112LSA installed last week. I'm having some surging problems during idling. I'm also having problems with the rpms not dropping smoothly; it is fine until I come close to a stop were it sits at 1000rpms then suddenly drops to about 680 when my truck is fully stopped. I'm currently have hp tuners being used on it; any ideas to make it run a little smoother.

Last time I went to the dyno I made 330hp. I have a few more mods including a new cam that went in last week! I'll hit the dyno next summer for updated numbers.

I read the article in the last motortrend. It was a RCSB 2WD R/T; 0-60 in 5.5 it only weighs in at 4600lbs.

I was reading a article from a Hot Rod magazine; I believe it was a september issue. They were testing the hp capacity of the lsx block; they put a twin 88mm turbos on it. It made 2050hp and claimed with the right tuning 2500hp.

Just received my 60" Fire and Ice light bar from plasmaglow. I am going to hard wire it in; so the cord isn't hanging out and I can hook up a trailer without disconnecting it. Which wire on the four way goes to which wire on the truck? The diagram for the four way shows a ground, left, right, and brake. Are there running lights for these? If so how would it be hooked up?

Will the 405hp Z06 heads work on our motors? How do they compare to the L92 heads?

I worked for Holland America for seven years; which is owned by Carnival. I thought that the carinval ships allowed you to bring liqour on board. I know that the holland ships didn't allow liqour; I did move a lot of bags that were soaked with it though . I took a eastern caribbean cruise the liquor was cheaper on board in the duty free shops; and much cheaper on the islands. Have fun!

I've seen three of them a month ago on the local lot for 36k. 5k off the asking price. I wanted to get one; my fiance said if I did no mods till it was paid off. I kept my truck!

I'm pretty sure that it was the mazdaspeed 6; they run 14.3 stock. Last time at the track I ran a 14.7, before the LS6 valve springs, yank 3000, and retune.

I was heading home down the highway and I see this car flying up the on ramp. I could tell he was going to try to get in front of me. I got on it, he gets on the highway behind me and doesn't let off. I took it 125 before he quite trying to pass me. Luck had it we pulled up at the next light. I believe that it was a mazda 6; it was debadged and I'm not really familiar with mazdas. This is my first race with since the yank 3000 install; I put in 4wd and stalled it up. When the light turned green I squealed the all tires taking off and pulled two lenghts right way and held it to 100 when I let off. That car had to of been awd, it took off way to fast for 2wd.

Should come to the AK; plenty of them up here. Haven't tried to race on yet, would like to though. The local Kendall dealer has at least 200 of those tundras sitting in various lots around town. Can't seem to sell them. Nice kill inSSane!

On the way to my parents house today; I saw a car coming towards me that I didn't recognize . Then I realized what it was ; a black GT-R. I've also seen 4 challenger srt8's over the summer; a orange one with black racing strips and three others that where a solid black, solid red, solid white.

Everything is tight underneath. I was told to check on the tranfer case; I only changed the fluid 10k miles ago.

I had a yank 3000 installed a couple of weeks ago, ever since then I hear a clunk if I tap the gas and let off before it down shifts. I looked underneath and everything looks and feels like it was put back correctly. I had Carter; another member from up here listen to it while he was re-tuning my truck; couldn't figure out what the noise was and where it was coming from. Any ideas?

I was at the dealership looking at their markdowns and noticed some 2009 1/2 ton pickups with the 6.2L and 6 speed tranny. They were already offering it at 39K which is 5K off the msrp. Does the 6.2L only come with a fully loaded pickup?

That should be a lot easier than removing the heads. Thanks for the information.

I'm upgrading valve springs and would like to know what the easiest way to replace them without removing the heads?

Just looking for some more power; enough to get well into the 13's. I was kind of disappointed when I went to the track and ran a best of 14.7 @ 92.5 in 4wd(I had trouble getting traction in 2wd). I did leave my tailgate and tonneau cover on. This truck is a daily driver with a little fun on the weekends. Do a little towing now and then (snowmachines, boat). My next future mod is a torque convertor and a shift kit.

What would be the best cam to run in a mostly stock LQ9 with 1.85 ratio rockers?

I was waiting at a light in a double turn lane, and I notice this titan next to me keep creeping forward before it turns green; I knew that he wanted to run me. Light turned green I gave it half throttle because I was in the inside lane; plus he had a slow reaction to the light. At the top of the turn he floors it; with his front end at my door. I hit it as well, by 70 I had at least three trucks on him when I let off.First titan kill for me. He was a cool, he caught up to me and yelled out sweet ride as he went by. I believe his titan was stock; has anyone ran a modded titan?

That should be fine, the latest I will get off is 6-6:30. I hate that forced overtime!
