  2. I have had the sonnax servos installed for about a year now and I agree that 1-2 shift is hard as hell. I'm talking snap your neck, hear all the plastic pieces in the cab crack hard. Ive learned to drive with it and tried to let the 1-2 shift happen as slow as possible and as low in rpm as possible to not be as harsh. Last Saturday I installed my long tube headers and installed my new tune. I talked to you about that hard as hell 1-2 shift to see if you could soften it up a tad and now it shifts great. The 1-2 shift is just right with normal driving, and even cruising around the parking lot is 100% better and it still shifts nice and strong at wot. You did an outstanding job and I thank you Charlie, the truck has never felt better! Ha ha like I told you on the phone...it can't be all that bad. I mean the faster mine breaks the faster I come see you Danny. Thanks for all your help in the past few months, and I hope to be making it back up your way the next time there is a DFW meet. Brendan
  3. You looking for a new license plate Chris? look on the table under your bottles. I don't think you can fool anyone if you go with SSTOCK haha. Nice project you have and I cant wait for the final outcome.
  4. I had a similar problem and it turned out to be the blade inside the throttle body was bent. What caused it to bend I don't know but that was my problem and I was bone stock
  5. Wow that's crazy.....but that's what happens when you turn your company over to the government to run. Well I guess we all become Ford fans now in nascar
  6. Welcome to the site nice looking truck Tell a little bit more about your front plate
  7. Its the axle for sure. Been there done that. G.F. drove the truck and had a blow out. She drove it home the last mile or more on rim...still can see the rim marks in the road where she turned on my street. When I got home I put the spare on and set off for Discount. I had the whole pissed of WTF where you thinking attitude and I hear what sounded like warped rotters. Long story short...bought a new rim, a new break kit, had my tires balanced and even the rim that was driven on wasn't bent. Only one last thing it could be, my axle was bent. Replaced it and its all good now but damn I would still think that a rim would bend before your axle does. Any way man an axle is not that hard to change out, good luck and hope you get it back on the road.
  8. Yup just go with what works. Ive heard nothing but praise from the work that Danny (and his father?) do. Its not just a word of mouth thing but actual proven results/numbers with Danny from actual members here on this board. Plus like mentioned above, your in Texas, he's in Texas. The decision in my mind is easy....stick with what works, take the drive and go see Danny.
  9. Looks good man...but wheres the famous Danny finger?
  10. Yea I call total B.S. on this one It is hard to get ammo at some shops now as stated above but talking to the shop owners they are just not getting restocked, not the fact that its a mass histariea (sp?) to buy ammo. I do hear the governments trying to tax the crap out of ammo soon. Definition from Wikipedia of Oeration Endgame: The objectives of the plan are described in a memorandum from the director Anthony S. Tangemann to the Deputy Assistant Director of Field Operations dated June 27th 2003: "The DRO provides the endgame to immigration enforcement and that is the removal of all removable aliens. This is also the essence of our mission statement and the 'golden measure' to our successes." A document issued by the Office of Detention and Removal Operations (DRO) titled "Strategic Plan, 2003-2012 Detention and Removal Strategy for a Secure Homeland "describes Operation Engame as follows: Endgame is the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Office of Detention and Removal (DRO) multi-year strategic enforcement plan. It stresses the effective and efficient execution of the critical service DRO provides its partners and stakeholders to enforce the nation’s immigration and naturalization laws. The DRO strategic plan sets in motion a cohesive enforcement program with a ten-year time horizon that will build the capacity to “remove all removable aliens,” eliminate the backlog of unexecuted final order removal cases, and realize its vision.

  17. Hey man sorry to hear of your troubles and of your situation. I live just up the road from Killeen and yea you have another problem there to....ITS KILLEEN! I have found more deadbeat crooks and idiots in Killeen than anyplace else. The problem I have found with Killeen is that its a military town first and most business's don't hesitate to rip you off there, and they get away with it due to the fact that another private will be right behind you who doesn't know and he gets his a$$ handed to him. I have been in Killeen and the surrounding towns sense 2000 and I avoid Killeen like it was the plague. If I need something and Killeen is the only place closest to me to get it then I just drive up to Waco or down to Round Rock, point is I hate Killeen and I avoid it if possible. The Car Shop in Killeen I have heard mixed things about and now I know to try to steer people away from them. In fact I have a coworker who is about to take his trans am there in the spring. There is another "The Car Shop" here in Temple located out by the airport and if they have the same owner I couldnt tell you. Anyway..sorry for the long post man I just hate when people get screwed over and to hear of another Killeen victim just adds fuel to the fire. Take care and hope you and Steve can get things back right. He has allot of knowledge and better yet he knows what he is doing Brendan
  18. I can't wait to get out of central Texas, I'm just up the road in Temple
  19. "2001 Silverado Intimidator SS (Black)" Anyone seen this or is it a typo?
  20. Yea I agree with what you all are saying. He told me today that if it was still in his account at the end of the day he would contact the bank again, and when I left today he said it was all still in there. Its just weird that they withdrew it and put it right back in. I'll let him know about the transaction logs and advise him on speaking with the bank manager tomorrow when I see him. Thanks guys on all the info
  21. Ok guys hear me out, this will most likely be a long one. A coworker was telling me his story at the end of work today and was asking for advice, and honestly I really couldnt answer him. So his story goes like this.... Last Tuesday he and his wife noticed an extra $16,000 in their joint account. He nor his wife have any idea how it got there or why. So the next business day (Wednesday) he calls his bank up to figure out why its there and he was told that it was a bank error and they were in the process of correcting it. Sure enough the $16,000 showed that it was pending a withdraw and later that day it was gone. He said he was a little weirded out about it but wished the bank could of given him a little bit more information other than a bank error. He then told me that the money reappeared in his bank account the next day (Thursday). The exact same amount down to the cents were back in his account. He explained that they both were sure that the bank would just take it back out again as another bank error so they didn't contact the bank this time. Well fast forward to today (Monday) when he is telling me this at 6:00 pm. That is 2 full business days the bank had to correct their error and nothing, all the money is still in his account. He asked me what he should do with the money and the first thing I said was f#@! it go treat your family to the best Christmas ever and have fun with it. I know I only said that because its not happening to me, but what the hell right! In all seriousness I told him to just hold on to it and do nothing with it and if it was still in his account in a week that he should probably seek some sort of attorney for the advice. Some people were telling him to withdraw all the money and close the account and others said that if he did, it could backfire on him and get in major financial trouble if they tried to take it back and nothing be in his account. So here is the big question, What would you do? and What is the legal thing to do? The actual amount of money deposited was $15,985.55 allot of money to just appear in your bank account.
  22. Those are really good tires. I have had them installed for about a year now and no complaints. You are right as they are a little bit taller than stock but they still look good and they seem to be wearing nicely. At about 167 a tire as he's asking, I think its a good price.
