  1. Sounds good I like it. It sounds to me like a louder version of your old GMPP muff. Now we will see if just a muffler swap will do anything on the track
  2. Thats a good VIN...you have a PM
  3. It really doesn't matter what kind of wire you use......hell you could just bend a paper clip to fit it.....but don't really...as long as you make an electrical connection. To jumper your sensor for instance you would get inside your dash...unplug the connector that goes to your light sensor...get a piece of wire say an inch long and run it between the two pins in the connector...thats it...all you are doing is bypassing the sensor...you can install the sensor back into the dash just so there is no hole but just remember that it will be doing nothing ***<----Just an example this is not what your light sensor connector looks like. Just showing you what a "jumper" is/looks like*** *reason for edit* Sorry Wody didn't see or read your previous post.....cheo look at this example or the one wody posted (in post #12) and you shouldn't have any more questions
  4. You only have 16 digits....need 17 for a VIN
  5. If its not to late get a hold of Moser Engineering. You will need a custom c-clip axle made as they do not have any for us but if I remember right they said it would be around $230ish for a pair...not $270 for a single axle from GM. I found this out after buying an axle and it being nonreturnable. You just need to give them all the info to make it and unfortunately my old axle is now part of a shop stool so I don't have the measurements needed. Thats the route I wished I had gone due to the fact that you get a pair of hardened axles for the price of 1 OE axle. Anyway hope this helps if I'm not to late.
  6. Hang in there Brad. Loosing a best friends is always hard....sorry to hear about your loss
  7. I think I will pass on this one Dave...factory audio/video and no cup holders
  8. I have an old gen 3 ipod and I have to hit play twice to get it to play. The first time it turns the ipod on to the spot it turned off paused and the second time to play. I dont have the harness in my truck just a crappy fm xmtr but it sounds like its doing the same.
  9. When I first read the post I was thinking that it wouldnt go or wouldnt look good at all....but after seeing those pics I really like it. I say do it its kind of like ghost flames
  10. I'm with you on this one... Last summer my belt broke for my A/C and with out that belt = compressor will not spin = no cold air = no wasted HP. Just a thought until you can get it evaced.
  11. I installed my 160* stat last week and had a big air pocket I couldn't get out. Just want to thank Wody, and sprayed99 for helping me out in the chat (as well as others...I cant remember all of you) and Mr. P for the write-up Also just installed my PCM from Wheatley and the truck never felt better. Wheatley is a great guy to deal with and has great customer service, any and all questions I had were answered. He will even call you back if you didn't happen to reach him the first time. So thanks all and I appreciate all the help I have gotten and to Wheatley...thanks for the tune Brendan
  12. I think the grills look good I just think it makes your lights look out of place being tinted
  13. I called and talked to Chuck earlier this month or maybe it was late last month...don't remember. Good people to deal with and wont steer you wrong. Got my shift kit and goodies in pretty quick. He did tell me that they were really busy and had to wait on a new shipment of parts. All in all I ordered my stuff on a Thursday and it was shipped out on the following Monday. They deff. know what they are talking about. As far as the shift kit in that link I couldn't tell ya. My xmsn guy did try and convince me not to put the Transgo HD-2C kit in and go with a junior kit from transgo and I'm thinking thats what the 4L60E-J stands for but I could be wrong. Oh yea he quickly changed his mind about the HD2 kit when he took it for the test drive.
  14. Thats pretty neat. I grew up by a few of those pictures in Oregon....good find
