why not go 317's...they will handle 20+psi and already have, parish's truck did it no prob as will mine...i have seen it first hand along with the L92's hitting the 20psi mark...no reason to spend a few grand on heads when some stock ones will do fine with a little work done to them
-
i ended up using the pushlock fuel line and double clamps....no problems since i did that
-
brad pm ur number to me so we can follow yall from the hotel or something cause idk if im going down sat moring from austin or staying at my exs.
we are all leaving out of Dallas around 3pm on Friday..there should be about 5 trucks that i know of in our caravan down
-
cheaper to paint it....to wrap your truck it would be $4,000ish
-
thats what i was saying there are links to the 2 diff hotels everyone is staying at...here's where a few of us dallas/OK people are staying http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/ex/1/en/h...equestid=331906

i have a thread started over in the meets and events section....it links yo u to the raceday thread and there are links to the hotels we are all staying at

beautiful...makes me hate my ex wife even more for the same reason as someone else already stated lol...one day i will have one again...but these are 2 expensive hobbies to have
you going to go with halides when you go up to the 125?
-
what was your set-up when you had them? Were you FI yet? That sucks they blew apart like that, are they made that shitty or something
it was my old setup...yep they were made pretty crappy
-
that same day i went 13.8 on motor i went 12.12 on a 125 shot then the other 75 netted me 11.88-11.95 just mattered how bad i was spinning...nitrous is a easy to use deal and these motors eat it up big time....i advise anyone wanting to use nitrous to read up on it a lot
-
thats freaking sweet!! i love it!

I noticed your time with the N02, what does it run without spraying. I am curious what I might expect once I spray mine. I run low 14's and a best of 13.96 but my tune is in need of some adjustments to correct a KR issue, that's why I'm not spraying yet.
My truck went a 13.8x on motor i think...i only ran it like once like that lol....mine was all in the 60' i was grabbing everything out of the hole going 1.60-1.66 60's....
How much total timing are you running?
I would recommend a Nitrous Outlet kit over any other there kits look a lot nicer and perform better then any i have used and i have used a lot of diff kits over the years, Smoke03 gave you some good advise but you can decided what all to buy, call Nitrous Outlet and they will set you up for sure. But you should get a tune to have a tune, these trucks really get a lot from a tune
the 100 shot you will feel it a little more and it will kill around a full sec of a 1/4 mile pass

**** that dynomax x muffler piece of crap...i blew a hole in 2 diff ones in 3 months, and before anyone says anything about a backfire or anything along them lines let me stop you...i never had a backfire through the exhaust i did have one through the intake and that was when i still had the stock muffler on
-
i say they are accurate over 160°
i had to drive without a t stat for a few days and my scanner would say 136° and the dash would read 170° but one it hit that it would read the same
-
hell i think im going to run a 75 shot till i figure out wich f/i system im going with
only bad thing is a 75 you wont feel in a 5,000lb truck...it barely makes the truck jump a couple hundred rpm
-
LOL..I was awaiting your reply
-
you dont have to take the front diff all the way out just losen it up and it will drop far enough out of the way to drop the oil pan
-
I believe the consensus is no more than about 125 shot on a stock set up..But opiions will definatley very both ways
what we some of us have safely run on a stock block is double what he just said...well maybe im the onyl one, but i ran a 250 shot on mine with no problems.....not saying you should run that i would say for you to stay with no more then a 125 shot until you learn more about it and all that good stuff
-
search button doesnt always help you find what you are looking for....
The L92 heads will bolt onto you block with no problem you just have to get a diff intake then your stock one, the truck intake has a cathedral style port and the L92's have a square port
Ditch the manifolds and get some headers

What does the LS2 have to do with it???
hey may be talking about the newer vehicle with the ecm/tcm setup
-
lol someone told you wrong, im running 60's they are siemen dekas there was a guy on ebay selling the for 330ish, if you went 96's the you would need a driver and a hell of a tuner, but i have actually seen a couple of people running high empeadance 79's
-
i have pulled the oil pan....front diff has to drop out of the way which really isnt to bad...will take you a little bit to do this though
-
Have had that happen to me...its the 2-4 band, its gone
-
At Ennis a helmet is required for 13.99 and quicker a cage at 11.49 and quicker..I think Denton only requires a helmet at 7.99 or maybe its 8.50 and wuicker i cant remember
i have never had to wear a helmet at any track except for Ennis...I think they enforce it a little more when you run slicks though
-
i will have to get a cage also which im dredding paying for...until i get it there are a couple of independently owned tracks i can go run at that have really loose tech
and the Texas Mile only required a 4pt bolt in cage and a fire extinguisher
Going 408 Soon, what Are The Best Heads For It?

see i disagree with the L92's not being a better head, they flow in the 360's for $1800 for a complete head, my 317's flowed 300 at .600....he could also mill the 317's and use a thinner gasket...just use a nice ARP2000 head stud
