I decided that was the best thing for me and its already a done deal. Maybe I can sell it when I get this bitch supercharged. I've been looking at the RADIX. It seems the way to go but I need to put some miles on my truck before I tear it appart. Jonmalibuss- I do live in So Cal, Rancho to be exact. Sounds like Dylan04SS and I are neighbors. I hope we never meet at a signal. Oh ya, the gears and cover together were $900 done by J&S in Huntington. Sounds like a lot but they know there shit and are super cool also. I'm a firm beliver in you get what you pay for so I went with them. Funny story- When I dropped the truck off I picked out an all machined diff cover. Later in the day I got to thinking.... thats gonna look like shit. Then Roy called and said, your trucks done, and I put a black diff cover on because the other one looked gay! LOL I like a shop that has the balls to make a decision like that. I think he said the gears were just factory chevy gears. Do all SSS come with 2500 rearends or just the later modles? zippy Posted January 18, 2006 Report Share Posted January 18, 2006 i'd deffinitly recomend either going with pcmforless.com or just buying hptuners and doing it yourself. if you plan on many future mods buying your own tuning software is the way to go.
