My 05 SSS was "serviced" under warranty but not replaced.

Now its back.

 

I want it replaced this time.

2004 Chevy SS AWD with 110,000km, and I got the same damn noise, hopefully they can do something if there is this many if not more out there, not just on our trucks.

2003 SSS AWD 54000 mine has a slight vibration, pretty sure its gonna get worse soon.

I'm down. Just bought an '04 SSS with 78K for $13,100 and this noise was the first thing I noticed when I drove the truck. Thankfully there is a fix. Hopefully I'll only have to do it once.

BTW, anyone know of any other "known issues" I should be on the lookout for? Extended warranty expires in about 2,500 miles.

GM just came out with the NEW improved version ....my cost out the door for part is 68 and change First 03 I had problem was corrected never came back in 54k miles Just picked up another 03 with21 miles on clock no clunk/pop yet but the fix aint gonna cost much... Have a Goooood day

Yes, this is more of a problem than just on the SSS's.

 

Someone help me on this ... when did this problem begin? With the new body style change in 2003?
