I just caught that! He can install these systems with his eyes closed :)

He's good, he built a new system manifolds back for my '72 Buick last month.

FLAWLESS!

If you're looking for custom bending in the Houston area, he's an artist.

Meineke Fondren @ Richmond.

I thought they were 2.5, they may be 2.25. I ment to ask when he was bolting it in, they are smaller then oem.

Since I've been driving it some, it is louder inside at 1800-2000 rpm, not annoying. At 70-80 mph runs on the freeway, he's almost stock quiet.

In general I'm very happy with the sound, 90 percent of my daily driving is surface 35-40 mph. With the Westers PCM the 3rd to 4th shift is set around 40 mph so he tends to hold 3rd gear in the 1800-2000 rpm range.

I've mentioned to Lyndon about lowering the 3-4 shift point when I first installed the PCM, but I wanted to wait till the exhaust and the Volant was installed. Once that's done I'll be 100% happy with my toys... :D

My last free flow exhaust behind my old 5.3 did that too...

Sounded loud and raspy as all heck for a week or so, then started to really mellow out.

I think it's the engine running lean at first, then richening up.
