traction control

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if anyone has a good understanding of the traction control on the SS? While I can appreciate the AWD I don't think it needs traction control. Does it restrict torque to keep tires from slipping? I'm pretty ignorite of the this system. Can traction control be disabled without losing AWD? :chevy:

The SS doesn't have traction control, it's just we don't have enough power to spin 4-78lb wheels/tires.

I've only been able to do it twice but right after it rains on a slick asphalt road gun it from a stop. Sometimes it spins, most of the time it won't though unless you have a power adder.

With a few power mod's, no problem breaking the tires loose on dry pavement.... :D
