Probably should have gone to a vinyl shop, and got a strip as thin as the engraved border and just laid pieces of it in there. Might have come out a bit more straight. Looks great on the truck though.

Glad to see you try something different. one tip that will help you keep the lines straight is to tape off the bowtie and then you could use a knife to cut where you want to paint it silver. leave the tape on the top of the bowtie where you want it to stay black. that will help you with making fine lines and help keep the paint where you want it to be.

 

As for the rest of you guys dogging on his stuff. what gives you the right? we wondering whats wrong with america and its shit like this. Instead of knocking on his skills why don't you try to help him improve??? We are only human. Some things come easier for others. we are a forum and a family. we should be here to help other members.
