HDMLNIUM
Well I can give you my input, I dropped 280 pounds off my truck. Before weight reduction; it weighed in at 5760 pounds This was at full weight with the hard tonneau cover and the 22" wheels. Weighed her in at my work. After weight reduction; she weighed in at 5480 pounds. I removed; Spare tire, spare tire hanger, hitch, back seat, step bars, 2" blocks in the rear and the front license plate. lol every little bit helps.. So with me weighing in at an even 200 lbs I went from a race weight of 5960 down to a race weight of 5680 lbs. Not to bad.. Good luck with you quest to put your truck on a diet!!! styleandspeed
Still looking for more ways. Took off the tow hooks, but that is about all I have done for now. I may take off the hitch soon too. Also looked at the stock front sway bar, and it is hollow like the hotchkis one, so I don't think that there are any weight savings to be had there.
