luvmySS
Is there another photo editing program besides PS Yes I do play around with PS as it is almost a daily part of my job. I'm a multimedia developer. I create web pages, computer-based training, web-based training, etc. I hear you. Sometimes I wish that I worked outside. Oh well at least I've got a window office with a fairly nice view. I've done some photography, mostly digital, but I'm really into doing video stuff. In fact I'm working on a video right now for a truck commercial. Can you guess which one

SilveradoKid
I'm sorry to tell you both this, but MSPaint rules photoshop up and down the street! Yeah! Give it a spin sometime!
Lee
Silverado, What are you smoking, bro? Nothing on the planet beats PS although some do come pretty darn close. That said, I'll have to admit that I have never tried MSPaint. I'm just being loyal, here.

luvmySS
I thought the only thing MSPaint was good for was pasting screen captures. That is, till I found SnagIt.

dcairns
Per the out of focus background. Truth be known we did not have clouds in the sky that day either. Hell, I live in Phoenix. We NEVER have clouds in the sky here. Dang, you fooled me!!!! You got the clouds showing through the tree branches so well, I didn't notice. And I can usually spot that sort of thing, having tried doing it a few times on my own photos.

creaker
The 20" Goodyear Eagle LS tires that came with the SS are rated at 655 rev/mi. The 22" Falken Ziex tires you have are rated at 639 rev/mi. That's not a huge difference at the speedometer (speedo vs. real): 35.0 mph = 35.8 mph 55.0 mph = 56.4 mph 75.0 mph = 76.9 mph 108.0 mph = 110.7 mph Or put it another way, for every 1000 odometer miles you drive your truck has actually traveled an extra 25 miles. FYI even changing brand of tire without changing the tire size *will* affect the speedometer reading slightly.
Lee
Wow. Thanks creaker. I knew it wasn't much but I didn't know it was that small. I obviously won't even worry about it then. As I am rarely traveling at the speed limit anyway, the only time I worried about it at all was when there was a radar cop around (like the photo radar I passed yesterday). Thank God I saw him before he clocked me. I musta scared the hell out of the guy behind me when I started breaking so hard, though. He was right on my butt in a little 3 series BMW going as fast as I was. As to your statement, " ....(assuming 55 mph average speedometer reading), your truck has actually traveled an extra 25 miles. The slower your average speed the less the difference will be." I guess there will be a BIG difference, then. The only two times I see 55mph are when I'm around a cop or I'm slowing down for a stop light. ;)
creaker
Lee, How's the road noise & handling with those Falken tires? I'm seriously considering a new set of wheels & tires and I'm leaning towards either Falken or Nitto performance truck tires. I'll probably stick with 20" as the price seems to increase by the inch exponentially beyond that! Lee
creaker, I like 'um but keep in mind that I am NO tire expert. They came recommended to me as VERY GOOD tires when I got the oversize wheels. I also got a wider tire (F305) as I liked the looks of a wide tire. The road noise is minimal to nothing. The vehicle handles very well but keep in mind that I also have not had this on a track running full out on a race course. At $202 each you are getting a better price than I paid, though. But I also got mine from one of the most respected wheel and tire companies in the Phx area and they are not necessarily noted for their price but their reputation. They are not a discount operation. They told me the tires had a guaranteed 50,000 warranty and I could run them all day long at 130 mph. They did recommend 45/50 psi but if I wanted more comfort to run them at 40 which is what I'm doing (esp, in Phx with summer highs in the 110 degree range). The SS has a stiff enough suspension and I did not want to add to that by running the higher recommended tire pressure.
