dcairns
I have been pretty happy with the stock exhaust, but Magnaflow is twisting my arm, forcing me to let them test fit a "new improved" cat back system for the SS. I guess I can't go wrong. If I like it, I can keep it. If I don't like it, I can keep the exhaust and put my stock system back. But if it is quiet enough on the highway, and flows better... The only downside, I have to drive a Ford rental car for a couple das

CraigW
Sounds like a no brainer. Free aftermarket exhaust Heck even if you dont like it you can sell it to someone else and make some money.

dcairns
I think they just want to play with a Radix-powered SS for a few days... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I guess I don't mind that, they can't floor it any harder than I do I dropped my SS off this morning, now I have a Ford Focus The showed me what they wanted to test. I guess the existing system has two resonators and then a single muffler. They are changing the resonators from the rounded end type to a more can shaped resonator. They are the same overall size, just shaped differently. They have a cool shop there. Two dynos, too bad they are not AWD capable
BenKey
So their system uses a y-pipe vice dual pipes to the muffler? I think I would have to see some flow numbers over just changing the muffler and keeping the stock dual pipes. Sounds like a sweet deal though. How about a nice set of CA legal, TOGs headers? Just to top it off.
