  1. That must have taken you forever to type out Hank!
  2. mmmm, been eying one up as well. Curious to your thoughts on the LT headers. Gains have been minimal and at the cost of most of the headers, it doesn't seem like a good upgrade...i.e. money should be spent elsewhere??? Pulleys and good tuning are worth 100RWHP wheras the headers are producing like 10-15HP (from what I have been reading). Regardless, the car is a monster.
  3. I went to Aruba for 10 days. Not bad however the island is relatively small and I grew tired of it within a week. Also got the worst sunburn of my life...still have scars from it and go to the doctor yearly to check for skin cancer. WEAR SUNBLOCK! I made over $1,000.00 on roulette while there. My resort gave out match play coupons and I took 50 of them. I used a coupon on black with a $20 bet, doubled down 3x in a row with the match play coupon and won! $20 x match play - win $80 80 x match play - win - $320 320 x match play - win - $1280!!! The wife was sleeping when all of this went down...I left the stack of 100's on the night stand when i cam home and pretended I knew nothing. I wouldn't mind going to Yellowstone for our 15th anniversery.
  4. Man, this sucks! Why go back to stock, did the spun bearing create hell in there?
  5. I drive one every day and long for more power. Sharp car for sure. I would have one for my commuter however I can't deal with a stick in the nasty north NJ traffic.
  6. I totally agree. These improvements will soon be the "must haves" for the TVS chargers.
  7. Hell yea. They look fantastic! More meat the better. "I didn't climb to the top of the food chain to eat plants!"
  8. Beautiful! i like the black "SS" on the doors. Personally I would keep them that color!
  9. Surely different. I really like the paint scheme.
  10. Are you running the 02 truck PCM a well? Since you are usinf EFILive, do you see any mvolt reading for either O2 under any condition (WOT or cruise)?
  11. LOL! Awesome. The 24 volt will quickly fry most of the electronics but the thing will spin the tires like no tomorrow. Rubber bands on the wheels are a must! Alot of info on that board...I like the 24 volt conversion with the nitrous button idea. Allows for traction off the line and then use the button when your kids want the extra KICK to show off. Cool thing about power wheel modifying is that you can find used donor vehicles on Craigslist for like $10 or even free. A quick stop in Radio Shack and you have a weekend project.
  12. As long as you didn't retap the pan for a larger size, you can pick up a stock replacement for $10 with free shipping here: EBAY - GM oil pan magnetic plug
  13. Looks fantastic and should run quite well. ...a little juice in your future?
  14. Nope, its not a kit, Just the small gaskets that go on the oil plug "bolt". After several oil changes the gaskets flatten out. For the cost of new ones, I just change them.
  15. Are you guys members too??? Modified Power wheels Forum Link I gave up on the power wheels and got my girls real 4 wheelers...so much better than the charging.
  16. Not sure how much the plug cost at the dealer however if you do go, buy the full pack of gaskets that go with the plug. The entire pack is like $3 for 10-12 of them. Change the gasket at each oil change for very cheap insurance.
  17. I did some research and it could go either way unfortunately. Per the Pensylvania Vehicle Equipment and Inspection Regulations Manual (available on-line: Reg link here) passenger vehicles less than 80 inches wide only are required to have 4 turn signal lamps: At or near the front, 1 amber on each side of the vertical centerline, at the same height, and as far apart as practicable. On the rear, 1 red or amber on each side of the vertical centerline, at the same height, and as far apart as practicable. So you would think this is a slam dunk,... nope. Subchapter E 175.66. LIGHTING AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS, for light trucks and passenger cars, states lamps that are not required and not located as described in Tables III, IV and V of this chapter are called "ornamental lamps" and are prohibited unless available as original equipment. So the 3 LEDs in the mirror are technically NOT ornamental lamps per the PA regs because they were OE, an option at that. And by following the inspection procedure in Subchapter E: Subchapter E 175.80. INSPECTION PROCEDURE (9) Check the lamps and lenses and REJECT IF one or more of the following apply: (i) An exterior bulb or sealed beam, if originally equipped or installed, fails to light properly, except ornamental lights. So, I could pitch a fit or fold. Looks like I am going to fold and ONLY go to my local guy (the one who inspects my SS) from now on. We have free inspections for life at the dealer for the van so that is the reason we brought it there. That was the last time, it is nothing more than a money making scheme.
  18. So took the minivan in to have its annual safety and emissions inspection and FAILED the safety part. It is a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan and it failed for a broken LED turn signal light in the mirror. I knew about it but figured it wouldn't matter. I attached a picture of the LED in question (little white strip on the bottom of the mirror). My question is can a vehicle FAIL for this? Having the turnsignal indicators in the mirrors is an OPTION on this vehicle and the normal indicators in the head / taillights are functioning properly? I was told that if ANY OEM light on a vehicle is out it will fail. Bottom line is that it cost me $140.00 just to have the tiny LED fixed so I can pass inspection! I did an evaluation and the cost of me picking up the vehicle from the dealer, fixing it and bringing it back to be inspected will cost the same so I had no real motivation to say FU, and take it somewhere else. So am I getting BS'd here or is this a real deal?
  19. Yea, I guess if you look at it in context, she is not the easiest on the eyes in that group. Any plans for All Truck nationals?
  20. Yes, methanol injection requires tuning as you now will be spraying extra fuel on top of your commanded Pe. Without tuning you will be running rich and depending on meth concentration more than likely will hurt performance. I reiterate, spraying meth on a naturally aspirated stock compression LQ9 is not a very good choice for performance gains...boosted engines is a different story though.
  21. Welcome to the site! ou have a very clean looking truck there!
  22. Hmmm, sounds like a story! LOL! You guys are brutal, she isn't that bad. I do remember her from last year...did she come and have dinner with you guys again??? Sorry I couldn't make it, was anyone allowed to take my goodie bag?
  23. I had an offer 2 years ago at a truck show...looking back at it, I should have taken it. Every once and a while I see the guy at a cruise night and since he couldn't buy my truck...he bought an SRT-10 Ram with modifications.
  24. ...I love when some good tech conversations brew up.
  25. There is a member on here that made REAL CF covers, not the dipped stuff. Great piece if you can find one. I think he doesn't do any more CF stuff as it is very time consuming. Not sure...
