Anyone Know How To Remove The Volume Knob?
YenkoChevelle69 replied to sabrooks005's topic in General SS
Pretty sure it just pulls off. I'd consult a dealership. -

What a shame. I think we've all been there at some point in our lives but never went through with it. I never met Dustin, but what a shame. I can't even begin to imagine what his loved ones are going through. Rest in Peace my SSS brother.

Can anyone tell me how to adjust the parking brakes on a 2003 SS? mine seem to be a little "loose". I can apply them, and the truck still rolls forward slightly when it's in park. They shouldn't be this loose should they? I also think I am about due for a new set of rear pads. Will this make any difference?
-
Yeah right.... they had better fix it for you whether you bring it to them installed in your truck, or it arrives via little red wagon. I'd take it back STAT!

I do definately plan on long tubes, but whats everyone doing about midpipes?

What is the sound difference with Manifolds vs Headers? I want to put my cutouts on but at the same time I want to do headers as well and may as well do it all at once. Does anyone know of a place a guy can get midpipes for Pacesetters? Everyone around my neck of the woods crush bends their exhaust.

I get about 14 in town and 21 on the interstate if I take it easy.

I've tried soap, simple green in several dilutions and that didn't work. It's got some road grime on it, and I would like to get it good and clean.

Please elaborate on the tow button tune? Sounds sneaky!

I no longer have cats. Would it be ok to put them where they were?
-
So, I got a set of 2.5 inch stainless cutouts. Where would be the best place to put them?

I don't really mind cleaning my wheels, b/c they look great clean, but is there a cleaner that is not harsh, and will not hurt the wheels, tires, paint etc? Something I can spray on, then spray off and have a clean wheel? Also, what can I put on the wheels after they are good and clean that will allow me to just spray them off and have the brake dust slide right off? My wheel are pretty clean, but they are not perfect. They have some imperfections here and there that collect dust and then there's the few trouble spots on them that colllect dust that you can't get too. I'm sure someone knows. Share the knowledge! Thanks guys, Yenko
