I was intending on putting a shift kit in this transmission I have. Truck has 85,000 miles on it, but was told that if I shift kitted it, the trans would crap the bed due to the added stress for it's age. I'm kinda miffed..... if I can't put a shift kit in, I can't mod my truck. Am I stuck with a truck that I cannot mod? I don't have the funds to just "rip it out and rebuild it". I was hoping to help the trans out actually by throwing the shift kit in it. The only real mods I want are E fans, CAI, Long tubes, cut outs and a tune.

I dunno man. All you asked is if they would fit an 03....

Are the fans spoken for?

I know I can tune them out, but don't want to if I don't have to.

I want to put some 2.5 inch cutouts where my cats used to be, but my concern is if they will agrivate my knock sensors or not.

I have them too... but the one that slips over the one midpipe is a little magled where I had to pry it open to get it off the midpipe.

So spend another 3-4-5 G's modding it to make it an SS... and again, you could buy a real one.

Just an FYI, you could probably get into a REAL 03-04SS for what you payed for your 05 if you bought it new.

Hey guys, the previous owner of my SSS broke the clips or whatever hold this panel onto the door panel. It's very loose, and I would like to know what I need to fasten this panel back correctly.

I have 2 flowmaster 40s on my truck. Other than sounding terrible, I feel that I have less low end torque. Is this my imagination, or would stock exhaust help me. I will eventually go corsa, but I am beyond sick of the drone these flowmasters give.
