  1. I recently traded my 22s for some GMC Denali polished 17s off of a 2006 Yukon Denali and the center caps have GMC stamped in them. Does anyone know where I can find some blank polished center caps for these wheels? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
  2. Does anybody have their stock front driver and passenger side brake caliper brackets they'd be willing to part with? I just traded my 22s for some stock Denali 17s and they won't fit over the SSBC big brake kit that came on the truck when I bought it. I've been trying to get a hold of the guy I traded wheels with to see if he'd want to swap the brake kit also, but so far no answer. I've called local parts places and they don't stock the brackets because obviously you should never need to change them. If anyone has these I'd really appreciate if I could buy them from you or if someone could let me know the best place to get them from. My neighbor was nice enough to let me know that I could drive her Suburban to work if I have to order the brackets and wait for them to come in. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks ya'll.
  3. I sent him the money a couple of Sundays ago and the last thing he said was he would try and ship them the next day. I asked if he could provide me a tracking number and he said ok, but I haven't heard anything yet. I postponed filing a claim with paypal for a while hoping that I would receive them, but nothing has been shipped.
  4. Thanks man. If it is a scam, that person is a piece of $h!t to do this during the holidays. The lights were going to be an xmas gift for me, but I could have used the money for a gift for my daughter instead if I knew I'd get scammed. I've never had to file a complaint with Paypal, but hopefully I do get my money back with no hassles.
  5. Wut up ya'll? I recently sent money via paypal to sleepersss for tinted tail lights and now I cannot get a hold of this person by way of text, email or pm. If anybody knows this person, can you help me out a little? I've already reported it to paypal. Thanks.
  6. Those are sick. They look great on your truck. Are they just stock lights that are tinted? Is there a clear reflector inside the housing?
  7. Hey man. I sent you a PM about buying these hangers off of you. I am also in Northern California. Get back to me if you can. Thanks.
  8. Is this for just the wheels or tires also? Do you have any interest in trading for some 22 inch U2-55 chrome wheels w/ Kumho 305/40/22 tires?
  9. For some reason it just makes the truck look like its quick. More of a race truck look. What are your plans for those wheels when you get your new 22's? I've actually been planning on going that exact route until I can afford some True Forged wheels. The 22's I have now look sick, but are made crappy and ride like shit. Les Schwab had a hell of a time getting them properly balanced. I'd be willing to by those stocks off ya if you're going to sell them when you get the new wheels. Let me know, thanks.
  10. I'm from Hayward, but currently stay out in Brentwood. I have seen a few SS's out here, but there are never really any GTG's. On Sunday I seen a couple hot girls smashin in a red SS. I'm not sure if they are on this site or not. Let me know if a GTG is in the works.
  11. Great lookin' wheel man. They really compliment your truck well. I've been thinking about a set of competition grey, but I still need to lower the rear on the truck. Great choice, your truck looks awesome.
  12. That looks great man. I've been wanting to do that for a while now, but haven't found a fog light housing I liked yet. Where did you pick the housings up from if you don't mind me asking? I recently got a new job and the route I have to take to work is notorious for thick fog. Let us know how they work if you encounter fog because so far I love the look, but am just wondering about the functionality. Great job!
  13. Thanks man, I appreciate that. What are your thoughts on the SS grille emblem? I just got done removing the SS emblems from my doors and I mocked a set up on the grille in place of the custom one I made. They actually looked pretty good there so now I'm thinking about painting a set dark grey and mounting them in the lower corner of the grille and then just leaving the emblems off my doors. I think it would look pretty bad ass if I was coming up behind someone and they could immediately see the truck is an SS by the emblem on the grille. I will start painting tonight and I'll mock them up later and post pics to see what ya'll think. Thanks again man .
  14. Since I'm still saving up to drop the rear of the truck, I decided to do some minor, inexpensive paint mods. I painted the tailgate SS emblem dark grey and relocated it to the right side of the tailgate accompanied by a dark grey silverado decal. I also painted the front bumper brake ducts the same dark grey and added a custom dark grey SS decal grille emblem. What do ya'll think? I'm liking how the black on dark grey theme is playing out. I will later finalize it all by powdercoating my wheels dark grey. Lastly, I'm finally reppin' silveradoss.com with a gloss black decal in the rear window. Check it out and let me know what ya'll think. Thanks.
  15. Has anybody removed their SS emblems to paint them? I know I could go with the decal, but I wanted to use the same paint on my brake ducts and emblems so they match exactly and they can be completely grey. If someone has, what did you use to reinstall them? I was thinking I could just get some double sided trim tape from an automotive store, but if someone has a suggestion for something that will withstand weather better, I'd love to know. Thanks in advance.
  16. I decided to install my Bully tailgate lock while I did a coolant flush today. Didn't go so well. When it is installed and I pull the handle to release the tailgate, the release arms get stuck preventing the tailgate from being closed or even locked. I don't see any sort of adjustment on it I can make and I've already tried adjusting the release arms and nothing has worked. I was wondering if anybody had this same experience or if this is yet another example of my bad luck and I got a defective unit. Any help would be appreciated.
  17. Hey I just checked out your photoshops. Great work man. I really appreciate that. I'm kind of torn now though because out of your two, I like the all black wheels. I'm thinking I will end up going with dark grey, just to set my truck apart a little from the murdered out look. Thanks again man. You got some skills with that photoshop.
  18. No I actually jumped the gun and bought these wheels made by U2 before I knew about the TBSS wheel in the silverado bolt pattern. I had been talking to factoryreproductions.com for a while about purchasing the competition grey TBSS wheel but I would have had to have an adapter and I was worried about the wheels not tucking well with a drop. I would definitely be in on that group buy if I still had my old wheels. You should definitely get them. GM got it right with that wheel. The one thing I like about the wheels I have is that they remind me a lot of the TBSS wheel, but they still have a decent size lip on them.
  19. Aw man I'm sorry, I didn't see it. I'll check it out now. I guess I hadn't seen it in the new posts for a while so I thought no one did it. I appreciate it though.
  20. Thanks to C-Hughes over at GMFS.com I now know the direction I am going to take the SSS as far as appearance. I have decided on the dark grey wheels, but I'll include all of the photoshops he did for me. This is exactly what I want the truck to look like aside from smoked tails, dark grey hood stripes and color matching the SS emblems and brake ducts. Tony (NORCALSS) hooked me up with the spindles so I'll be lowering the truck very soon and then I'll save up to powdercoat the wheels. Feel free to let me know which one ya'll like best.
  21. Well I feel better that I'm not the only one that has it and not the only one so crazy about my truck that it bothers the hell out of me. I'm still curious if I should just use superflush and do the quick coolant change, or if I should actually have the whole system flushed professionally.
  22. would you recommend letting a shop do it? I've only ever done the Prestone superflush procedure that doesn't replace the entire amount of coolant.
  23. So if I remove it and fill it up with CLR and water and shake it, they algae should come loose?
  24. As the topic says, I have some algae in my coolant reservoir and I was wondering if ya'll think I should replace the reservoir since it's in a place that I cannot reach. I am going to do a coolant flush soon, but I'll wait if I need to get a new reservoir and then do it at the same time as the reservoir replacement. Thanks.
