those denali trucks are so nice, are you going to get one?
Maybe in 5-6 years when I can get a used one for 20k.
-
Sorry, I posted this thinking I was in the "off topic" section and before I saw some of the threads in the "rumors" section.
-
I've seen a couple ads for the Denali and decided to look it up. I found this on the GMC website. It's a little heavy being a quad-cab, but it does come with 403hp. It's available in 2wd or AWD. It has a 3.42 gear which I would think could be swapped out to 4.11 fairly easily. A lowering kit, couple engine mods, and a tune and it would be a pretty nice machine. I priced it out with AWD and a power moonroof for 50k. They have a 4k discount to bring it to 46k.

Taht's about the right limiter amount from the factory. You have to have it raised with your custom tune.
As far as the radio, it may be the bose amp is on it's way out. If just the amp is losing power I could see that. I don't where the chimes come from.(radio or amp) If you don't get an answer here, try the radio section.

I was heading north in my wife's G8 from Napperville towards Schaumburg at about 5:30 after Easter at the in-laws. I saw a black SSS with hard toneu and a missing center cap on the driver's side. Just curios who it was. If we'd have been in my truck I would've waved.

Krylon Fusion plastic paint on ducts and grills and no problems.

Luckily I get mine through my wife's company. I have heard that there are some insurance deals online that put you in a group with other small businesses to get the same discounts as big companies. I saw it on the news a couple years ago and looked into it and it seemed reasonable. You might be able to find it with some hunting.

I'd check with your local Napa. They have quality parts fairly inexpensive. The last thing you wanna do is skimp on gaskets and seals and have to redo it 2 months down the line when the cheapo's go bad.
-
Check your vin#. It says in the description that it should be a Y in the 8th position. Any other questions, just call them.
-
I just watched it today, but it's on again tomorrow. It's from 2008 so some may have seen it already. They don't give a ton of details, but still informitive. It's on Spike at 11:30 ET/10:30 CT.

happy birthday!
Due to the recent outpouring of support, I've decided to stick around.

How did it ruin her spring break? Didn't you tell her it was an indoor pool? Just watch out for the big brown sharks.

EVERYONE ELSE GETS A HAPPY BIRTHDAY WISH, BUT ME. THAT'S IT I'M LEAVING THE SITE FOR GOOD.

Yes. Its true. We aren't the government. Otherwise we would force you to insure your SS through us, and fine you if you didn't pay
No, if this was the government, you'd give us all auto insurance and make the taxpayers pay for it.
Oh sh#t! That's a political statement. Maybe that'll get this thread locked and everyone can go back to having fun.
On a serious note, just add a politics and religion forum. I'm not into all that, but those that are like to discuss this stuff with people they consider friends or family. I think that's why they like to do it here. Just my simple solution to end the bickering.

Check with your local electrical(starter/alternator)shop. Most of them can rebuild your alt and juice it up for you. At least if something ever goes wrong with it you can take it back to them instead of mailing it back and forth.

Also seen this happen with a broken belt in the tire.

I like the look of the front end, but overall its pretty dumb. Id like to know what language the author speaks, because his english sucks!
It's Los Angeles! Take a guess. I bet you get it right on the first try.

Try truxsport.com That is the roll-up I have. I can't remember who I actually ordered it from.(probably Summit or Ebay)It has a thumb latch on either side with adjustable tension, and rolls up with the supports attached. I run my boat repair service out of my truck and roll it up at least once a day for the last 2 years. The velcro is just now "starting" to weaken. It still works great and looks good. It does flap a little at highway speed, but nothing exteme. I can make it better if I really pull on it to get it tight, but it doesn't really bother me. It's not making noise or anything.

No, without going into details ...i'm just helping someone else out who has been trying to get a hold of him.
thanks guys
I'm guessing that he is dodging that particular paternity test.
-
Care to elaborate why?
I would guess that because he's planning to pull a boat, sometimes the ramps are REAL slippery and the AWD would help in that situation.

Check the rubber boot in the fire wall where the column goes through.
