  1. I've seen a couple ads for the Denali and decided to look it up. I found this on the GMC website. It's a little heavy being a quad-cab, but it does come with 403hp. It's available in 2wd or AWD. It has a 3.42 gear which I would think could be swapped out to 4.11 fairly easily. A lowering kit, couple engine mods, and a tune and it would be a pretty nice machine. I priced it out with AWD and a power moonroof for 50k. They have a 4k discount to bring it to 46k.

  2. Taht's about the right limiter amount from the factory. You have to have it raised with your custom tune.

As far as the radio, it may be the bose amp is on it's way out. If just the amp is losing power I could see that. I don't where the chimes come from.(radio or amp) If you don't get an answer here, try the radio section.

  3. Luckily I get mine through my wife's company. I have heard that there are some insurance deals online that put you in a group with other small businesses to get the same discounts as big companies. I saw it on the news a couple years ago and looked into it and it seemed reasonable. You might be able to find it with some hunting.

  4. Yes. Its true. We aren't the government. Otherwise we would force you to insure your SS through us, and fine you if you didn't pay :jester:

No, if this was the government, you'd give us all auto insurance and make the taxpayers pay for it.

Oh sh#t! That's a political statement. Maybe that'll get this thread locked and everyone can go back to having fun.

On a serious note, just add a politics and religion forum. I'm not into all that, but those that are like to discuss this stuff with people they consider friends or family. I think that's why they like to do it here. Just my simple solution to end the bickering. :)

  5. Try truxsport.com That is the roll-up I have. I can't remember who I actually ordered it from.(probably Summit or Ebay)It has a thumb latch on either side with adjustable tension, and rolls up with the supports attached. I run my boat repair service out of my truck and roll it up at least once a day for the last 2 years. The velcro is just now "starting" to weaken. It still works great and looks good. It does flap a little at highway speed, but nothing exteme. I can make it better if I really pull on it to get it tight, but it doesn't really bother me. It's not making noise or anything.

  6. No, without going into details ...i'm just helping someone else out who has been trying to get a hold of him.

    thanks guys

I'm guessing that he is dodging that particular paternity test. :jester:
