I like my Kumho's, but are a little iffy in the snow. Then again, I haven't driven this truck with any other tires to compare to in the snow. I had Coopers on a previous truck. They started off good, but the performance faded after 12k miles.

I think the flat black hood thing started from Fast and Furious. Except for the fact that it was made of carbon fiber. The kids obviously can't afford a $900 hood, so they just paint em black to look like that.

I'm beginning to think I had a bad plug wire. What is odd is that I got a Zippy tune in the spring. I noticed a drop in mileage just after. I put new plugs in and no change. I put new wires on, and got my mileage back. I'M NOT SAYING IT WAS THE TUNE. I think it was a coincidence the two happened together. Just weird is all.

I installed a set of Taylor 10.9 plug wires 3 weeks ago. I've been watching the MPG, and have had a consistent 1 mpg gain around town. I was getting 12.5-12.7 and am now getting 13.7mpg. I laughed when I removed the stock wires and held it up to the Taylors. HUGE difference.

Duplicolor Fusion paint. It's made to bond with plastic. I've blasted it with the pressure washer and it doesn't come off.

There are alot cheaper hotels listed, just don't know what you're looking for. Look for anything near Grand ave.(Rt. 132) west of I-94 and you'll be within 15mins. of the GTG. Are you staying Fri or Sat night? I would suggest Sat night. You're only 2 hours away and we'll probably get started around 9 or 10am. Most of the fun stuff is Sat night.
