  1. Finally received mine today. It is a burnt copy not a GM copy like I was hoping it was. The disk is all scratched on the back. Looks like about 30 people have had it and tried to load it and left it lying around all over. I cannot get it to load, maybe because I lack good computer skills or maybe because it is all scratched up, sent pm about it to get some help with it.
  2. I can't wait for the results either. This will help my decision of which to get and if I should even get a CAI.
  3. I have been running 87 octane for the past month since I bought the truck. 87 octane is $1.28 per liter. Costs me $120 to fill. I consistenly run 13L/100km doing 100-110km/hr. Or like 65mph for your guys. Ran 91 octane for a tank from a place that sells it alot. I have to drive 45 mins to get to 91 octane fuel that is fresh. It was $1.38 per liter. Cost me $60 for 43liters. Got 14-15L/100km. Was noticeable lower and never got any better mileage. Maybe my truck has a tune for lower octane or something? Oh well, I ordered a tune for 87 so I can be sure it will be safe running 87. I wish I was done university already to start modding this truck. But for the next 2 years it will be left as is.
  4. I ordered a tune as well. Being from Canada it might take more than a couple days to get up here haha. Charlie replied to emails as quick as he could even called me late at night when he had a chance. He is very busy. Be patient. I can't wait to get my tune!
  5. Ya, my thought is it was probably a PCM from a salvage yard or something, its messy writing, I don't think it would be something GM would have put on there. Anyway, now is the time to get a new tune since I don't know whats in there currently! yay!
  6. I bought my truck 2 weeks ago. The PCM has white marker on it and it says APS 4470 in someones writing. Anyone know if that is someone's tune? Or was it maybe from a salvage yard and that is a lot number or something.
  7. Here is a pic with the factory rim on the front and aftermarket on the back. Which looks better? I like the factory better in my opinion, and I can't afford to keep both sets, and I would hate to get rid of the factory.
  8. I'm from Canada, I could probably go sledding this weekend if I want haha. Might be lots of waterskipping as well though, its melting finally
  9. Ok, lol. I never seen an SS in person before I bought mine.
  10. I just bought my truck, does it look lowered to any of you? To me it looks lower than some ss's. Factory rims going on this weekend as well. edit: Well it looks alot higher than the one pictured above, but to me it stills seems lower than some pics I have seen.
  11. $81 is cheap, here in Canada it costs me $120 to fill my 03 ss!
