  1. Check this one out. What goes around comes around.
  2. I wouldn't say he is to clean of a player. He tends to lose his temper easily and punch people in the face with his gloves on. Be a man and drop 'em. His check was WAY after Max had the puck. But being the giant he is, it doesn't take much effort for him to make someone else look like a fool along the boards. I think the NHL better redesign those cushions asap. Maybe angle them so when the next player hits it, instead of the force being head on, it is in an upwards motion.
  3. $1.19 per liter for 87. $1.31 per liter for 91.
  4. Work for Wheatheart Manufacturing assembling and doing warranty work on grain augers, build post pounders, help put together grain auger mover kits, assemble grain bin sweeps and build a few other small farm related things. Got a B.Sc. in Land Use and Environmental Studies with a minor in Geographic Information Systems in December. Applied for this job to pay the rent until I get an environmental job with my degree. Started in the beginning of January here and in the 3.5 weeks I've been working I have worked in every production area of the building. First person in the company to to do so . Supervisor said he is very impressed, I think thats when you ask for a wage increase!
  5. Really to bad your tickets don't let you come up to Canada for a free trip. We'd love to share our -30C (-41C with windchill) here in Saskatchewan! lol.
  6. I'm game for one wheel as well. Got curb rash on one of my stockers.
  7. Mine has been doing this same thing since I bought it 3 yrs ago. I will be doing this to test it as well! Thanks for the link, I've looked and never found a way to test it before. I think its $1000 for a new viscous coupler here in Canada
  8. haha bull nutsack is hilarious! Just imagine one of those dragging behind a SS lol.
  9. I bought a head gasket/cam swap kit from texas speed when I replaced my head gaskets. I only used the head gaskets, everything else is new GM stuff still in the box. Want it? I can't get it from the farm until like the 18th or something though, not sure if that will be soon enough for you.
  10. The pistons are TRW forged. I think they are just the stock replacement, but forged? Rings I am unsure. I will use your advice Mr.P and do a leakdown test, I think my brother has a gauge at his work. Won't happen for a couple weeks, last day of university tomorrow then I write finals for a couple weeks. This past summer I started the project. Bought a 71 Lemans for windows and chrome trim, and I was hoping to use the 400 out of it, it lasted about 30 mins then fall apart. The 70 GTO body has been in my uncles yard since the early 80's. It was just the body, no interior, windows, wiring or nothing. Much like you'd buy a camaro or mustang shell, except this was old. It was fun, I've never done anything like this before, never used a mig, never done body work, and still haven't painted. I have primer to prime the car with, currrently its just in spray bomb primer as I never finished the bodywork in a few spots. TH400 with a 2800 stall should be fun as well. Cam is Advertised Duration 292/292, Lift .490/.490, Pontiac, V8 with 110 LSA (Lunati #00071) and I'm using the Qjet.
  11. No wear ridge on the cyl. I'm not to fussy on it being perfect, the rest of the car is far from it for now haha. I am concerned with it loosing compression or something because of the look of the cylinder wall? He said he fogged it when he parked it. Maybe thats residue from fogging oil? I've never fogged an engine so I don't know what it does to the cylinder walls.
  12. This is from my 70 gto motor. Bought the motor a week ago and pulled the heads to check on the condition of the pistons/cylinders etc. Should I hone and put new rings or not worry about it? Supposedly it only had 3000 miles on the motor but I find that a little low... http://s1193.photobu...=IMG_4236-1.jpg It looks like some sort of oxidation, can't feel it with the fingers.
  13. Wow those blue lights look sick! I wish I had the guts to try change them on my truck.
  14. Does he still have those window louvers on it, or ventshade whatever they are called on the front side windows? I am really NOT a fan of those. Not on an SS anyway. I love my rims, I don't want to sell them, but just hate how much power they take away even compared to 20's. Huge difference.
  15. Ya that guy from Quill Lake was gonna buy my black/chrome boss 330's, he said he'd take them, but haven't heard from him in like a month lol. He works with a buddy of mine for K-Line. I dunno if he's on the site. There are a lot of SS's in SK. I've seen a few red ones, 2 blue ones and lots of black. I'm sure there are a few others from SK on this site and likely been here for years.
  16. I think I might have been the first from SK . I drive through Wadena every second weekend. I have a 03 blue SS, you've probably seen it.
  17. There is no knock retard meaning there is no deto meaning I will not have any engine trouble in the near future . I will continue to put 87 unless I take the truck to the drags.
  18. Maybe for you U.S. people it saves you money. I keep track of mpg of every tank. I see .2-.3L/100km difference on 87 vs 91. It does not pay to run premium in Canada, unless like RICE EATER said, he has a blower and it was necessary for him. I have HP tuners and have logged it and I have no knock retard with my 87, it was even tuned by zippy. Driving 110km/hr for 8 hours a weekend doesn't need premium for me. Sure if I was going to drag it I would run 91, but for a DD nope. Made 65,000kms the past 2 years on 87. Pulling farm equipment, hauling my car around, and its been fine. Maybe our 87 is much better in the north than the 87 south of the border?
  19. I mostly use 87. When I'm empty or near empty I will put 91. Its $13 a tank to put 91 over 87 here. I'm in university and can't afford it, I make 4000kms a month and its way to costly. On a side note, truck runs fine on 87, bit more power on 91 you can notice, but I won't run it all the time for $13 extra a tank.
