I've had it before to. Only thing it was +35 celcius and no rain! Was happening at the same time my a/c was not working while driving through British Columbia last summer, it really made a sweaty situation worse. It was not fun! Did it maybe 3 or 4 times that day and one other day after that. Hasn't done it since.

My truck is arrival blue with the stock hood. The paint has been bubbling and peeling off at the back of the hood near the windshield for a while and I am sick of looking at it. I am going to get it repainted. Should I just go all blue like factory? Or would it look ok if I got the raised portion of the hood painted flat black and the sides would be blue? It would be similar to how the new camaro's hoods are. I think it might look good. I have black and chrome rims, black tonneau cover, and I painted all my stock grills black, got rid of that ugly grey. Any opinions? So far I only called one place to ask price, they quoted me an extra $100 to get the black on there was well bc it has to go through the paint booth twice.

What kind of gains are to be had with the 3000 stall on nearly stock truck? Few tenths? Much quicker off the line? Sorry, kinda a hi-jack. I've never driven or ridden in anything with other than a stock tc. I have a TBTC sitting, is it going to make much difference or would I be better waiting and getting a 3000 stall?

I've never priced out getting that done, I know my brother will help me with mine if I get a shift kit. I have a TBTC sitting waiting to go in, had it for a year already. Everyone has to remember 03silvSS is in Canada and everything is always a lot more money than in the US.

I am trying to PM both of you at work today. As soon as I click send a message I get locked out of the work computer. I will have to send from home tonight. The bumper billet grill I have is rough, I never hit anything but the bumper billet grill piece is all warped. The 2 for the upper grill are perfect, and the brake ducts chrome grills are still in the wrapping.

I put a billet grill on my truck last year. I want to take it off now but I can't find the factory grill for the front bumper. Does anyone have one kicking around they would sell?

I got this combo from Brad (Blownfogger540). I love the rims, everytime I walk by the truck I like it more and more. Very happy with them, price was great as well. Gonna paint the calipers soon. It isn't very often that I am not hauling something in the box or towing something on the farm with it.

Truck has 2" lowering shackles in the back. I will try get pics of different angles to show the rims better.

Mine stopped working a few weeks ago. Hooked my laptop and HP tuners up to it, there was no codes but I cleared it anyway. Cruise worked instantly after that?

2007 Denali 6.2L 15.0sec at 92.1mph http://www.insideline.com/gmc/sierra-1500/...rra-denali.html I will line my buddy up anyday, he's stock and will always be stock unless I use my HP Tuners and get zippy to tune it. I haven't found a stock one online that went quicker than 14.9. I have CAI, exhaust and zippy tune.

Keep me in mind when your making more, I'd like to get one. Just not yet, got another month left of University.

You have to rip it out to split it apart. Its not hard. Not very many bolts, only somewhat hard part is to get the axle stubs out of the diff before you pull the diff outta the truck, much easier that way. My brother did mine this summer, didn't take him long at all. We just put new bearings and seals though, gears were fine.

Anyone see the new CC Denali's run? With the 6.2L? My friend has one and wants to race.

I am looking for 1 chrome 20" SS rim. OEM or the Ebay lookalike. It doesn't matter to me. One of mine has a crack on the lip of it and has started leaking.

My cladding is coming off just behind the passenger front tire and on the passenger door as well.
