I dont know why everyone is getting upset that FSU jump Oregon. Since when has a season been determined in week 8 except for someone losing? Let the season play out. But go FSU all the way.......

Output shaft you would have reverse, input shaft or forward drum you would of heard something It is the pump and most likely the internal rotor is broke Has the trans been out at anytime for any reason? Edit: to answer the other questions. It would be wise to have the converter flushed if not replaced at best. Then flush the trans cooler. Best thing to do is the remove the pan and check to see how excessive the debri is then make a decision. As for the 95 trans, will not work

CAM PROBLEMS need some input please

Dont even mess with the dowel rods. Get 16 pen magnets, take a coat hanger and bend it straight and cut it into 4 inch sections approx. Bend 90 degree and tape to the pen magent kind of in the middle or between middle and top. Also try and tape the extending part of the pen so you try to keep it one length and not expand as you take them out. They can be touchy when you are taking them out so be patient. So when you spin the cam one at a time and when each lob comes up to the top this is where you want that coat hanger to be able to hold up the pen magnet. I have done one cam swap the russian roulet way and probably wont do it again. Used pen magnets everytime after that and havnt had an issue. You will know when its holding one or not. For example, this was the last one. Note I was doing a lot of other things during this too -
Not a big fan of it.....

Very possible. Again, just cause the code says "knock sensor" doesnt mean the knock sensor is the issue

I do not believe it is a knock sensor. Just cause a diagnostic tool has a code for a particular sensor doesnt mean the sensor is the issue. Its ironic all this happened right after the header install. The ticking noise can be a couple things. One most likely you have a leak. The other is lifter noise which headers will amplify this noise. Best way to check for a leak is to feel around and you will feel exhaust blowing on your hand if not see soot already.
