    Build Section

Im gettin ready for a cam swap soon, if theres a "build" section of some sort I will take the time to take pics of the progress.......
  5. Yahtzee!...iv been lookin for these!!! You have a PM sir
  6. I have been kickin around the HID idea for awhile now. I like that alot. Maybe someday ill give in. Ill agree with the Shopman statement too, his product is awesome. I splurged and got the brake duct overlays too, another fine piece.
  7. Got my catch can installed. It came with the "machined" finish. The polished finish was $75 more so I polished it myself and save the jack. Fabbed up a mounting bracket to bolt to the supplied bracket too. Here ya go : Also here is the headplate a guy on LS1tech made for me. Polished stainless, black SS decal, clear coated, wet sanded, and polished. Here ya go :
  8. Unions Unions Unions.....When we are paying someone that is able to retire at 45 and still pull full wage and retirement and try to stay in business?? Yeah thats working pretty good. GM should have dropped their nuts and fought the union strike when they had the chance and we wouldnt have this. Or revise the contract somehow......If they go under, its their own fault...and ill blame union bullshit till I die.
  9. I got the PC 7424 for x mas. Along with the Menzerna Intensive Polish, Tropi-Care Swirl Cutter, and Tropi-Care T-3 Sealant. Lakewood Orange, Blue, and White pads. I have seen the results with this combo and its phenominal. Looking forward to spending a weekend gettin this done when this crazy Kansas weather parts. Truck looks killer by the way....
  10. The longer I watched that clip, the more irritated I got. This kid needs punched in the face. How about you try getting a job , spoiled little shit Sorry, lol

    Ls7 Swap

usabodygaurd has an LSx project...might check that out. Its pretty sick......
  12. I used the stock manifold bolts.....no problems.
  13. Is that cowl piece "with" or "without" the hole...cause I dont see one??? Or am I just blind......
  14. Thats fvckin sick, plain and simple. Who cares if its not a real SS, he did it right and it looks outstanding. I dont see what the big deal is about making an SS replica, if its done right who cares?? Just dont try to sell it as a real one.
  15. Damn that sucks. All my bolts came loose farely easy. I had to use a cheater bar on the collector nuts, but they broke loose no problem. BFS!! (big f*cking sawzall)
  16. I have the full meal deal...lemme know
  17. Good god, lowering it any more with 24's......from what it looks like in the picture, it looks pretty good the way it is!
  18. I did the 2" Beltech shackles and turned the torsion bolts 5 turns each side. Then had it aligned after. My truck came with helper bags, but I removed them. (sold already) since I dont tow with it. I also removed my tow package and spare tire. Its obviously not in the weeds, but lowered it enough where it looks right. Hell I think it rides better than when I bought it, lol. Take BigCountry's advise with aftermarket exhaust. Make sure you check all clearances. I had my exhaust mandrel custom bent cat back before I lowered it, and it changed my pinion angle in the rear just enough where the counterweight on the drive shaft was hitting my muffler when under load. Easy fix, but just a hassle.
  19. I started to disassemble mine and got into it, stood back and said...weeeelllll maybe I best let someone that goes through these daily dis and reassemble. That way it works the first time when back together.
  20. Name the time and place and we'll git r done!
  21. It was the polishing that I was talking about.....getting in all those little nooks and crannys. If you have the right tools, like plateing companys do......prolly wouldnt be bad. I was going to attempt it, but I just decided to chrome it and be done.
  22. Thats gonnna be tight.....if you need a hand with the install....I just installed my OBX's...so I know a few shortcuts!! Back on subject.....I would say pencil in May 2nd....and I will see where we can have like u said a "show n shine" at someplace where there is a hangout as well.
