How about you save that extra money for when you graduate? You have no idea the expenses you are going to have once you walk across the stage Ask me how I know.....

Not digging on what your doing here, but why go through all the work and hassle to make these fit when you can buy 1 7/8 headers that are already made for these trucks?

Well im not a big time trans builder, especially according to my ball less buddy here, but I don't believe in the Z-pack. I don't think adding clutches especially thinner ones is the trick. Again, my opinion. Its the flex of the input drum at the apply plate that takes out 3/4's. Sonnax has come out with a billet input drum that's pretty legit. Higher than giraffe pvssy, but I hear its a nice piece. Other than that, the list looks good.

Sounds like you had two problems on this one This is my opinion, most likely the pump rotor broke from getting a little rammy with the converter one time or another when installing it during the many times it has been in and out. Happens quite often specially when trying to get the snout of the converter lined up with the rotor tabs. Second, looks like the piston had a crack it and caused the clutches to fail. Could of been cracked from a previous failure? Hard to say But I will let -----> onebadmax <------ put in his ball less words
