i run 8oz of lucas fuel system treatment every other tank of gas. it helps with rough idle due to lean misfires and prevents upper end deposits. cheap to, a big bottle is only ten bucks at napa, and it lasts me a couple months...

just wondering, does your girl work? if she's contributing to the income then loose the camaro. but if she's not... she should be in my opinion. either way good luck with a tuff decision.

how many miles on the truck? pcm is covered under emissions to 8yrs or 80k...so if you're under, ya, they're trying to screw ya. howeva a factory pcm goes for close to 600 bucks, allowing some time for diag, install, and programing, thats not a outa this world estimate... buying a tuned pcm sounds like a much more affordable alternative.

somebody gave you a bum steer dude. p0430 pertains to the catalytic converters ability to store oxygen used in catalyst. chances are the converters are no good. depending on mods, most dealers will warranty them under 8yrs or 80k. p0101, p0102, p0103 are the only MAF specific codes that can set in your truck.

fyi, if it was a theft deterant issue the fuel pump would still run. vtd dissables fuel injector signal not the pump.

do you have an aftermarket alarm/remote starter installed?

12 volts must be present at the 20amp, pcm b fuse in the underhood fuse block to pwr that pump. sounds like you'v got a bigger problem somewhere else, the crank circut and the fuel pump circut don't share any grounds, so it's gonna be a pwr supply issue.

here's a wiring diagram for the fuel pump controls on your truck. it still should crank over even if the fuel pump is dead. lot of problems with ignition switches going open on these trucks, fyi.

dont feel bad , our trucks easily weigh twice as much. they look cool but i'm not that impressed with they're performance. still a mopar . lol

if the driveshaft was too long you wouldnt have been able to install it in the first place. sounds like bs to me too. do you have the means to pop the old seal out on your own? i've seen guys score the inside lip of the t-case with a seal puller when they remove the old one for replacement, and that will create a repeat leak... course you'll never get the dealer to admit to it.
