  1. Sweet I'll take some Wilwoods. It's only .001% of the winnings lol

    What color? :)

I always dream about what I would do if i won that kind of money in the lottery, but they i remember that you have to buy tickets to win.

I hear ya, so expensive to even buy them, which is why I usually only even play when the jackpot gets way up there.

I thought this would be interesting to find out what you guys would do with the money IF you actually won.

    First things I will do....

    1. Invest in real estate - probably buy at least one vaca. home and a sweet main house

    2. Buy a sweet Ferarri Enzo possibly

    3. Give a few bucks to family

    4. Give a nice chunk to St. Jude Childrens' Hospital

    5. Go on a long vacation!

    6. Share a little something will all my SSS brethren

  2. Before I plumb in my new Ice Box, I've been considering a second heat exchanger for a couple of reasons:

    1. Is the obvious - to keep IAT's lower

    2. Current exchanger is the one provided from Magnuson that is in and out on the same side. Since my IB is now on the passenger side of the vehicle, it would be a shorter plumbing run and would look better under the hood IMO if I were to add a second one that would mount just behind the bumper grill that was in on Drivers' side and out on Pass. side.

Any thought, suggestions, opinions or even actual part numbers are appreciated. Thanks bros!

  3. I want to get out and see the world while I'm still young and dumb...and full of rum

Smart move Brandon. From about 10yrs old to 25, I spent on the Jersey Shore - Very fast paced life, lots of rude people but LOTS to do as far as going to the beach, boardwalk or gambling are concerned. Although I moved away 20+ years ago, my friends who still live there always complain about the really high taxes and shitty economy there now.

So for the past 20+ years I've lived out here in Johnson County, KS. Originally moved out here because my family was still out here, and must admit, was pretty much a total culture shock from the east coast. People are much more friendly, much slower pace of life and Johnson County is a very big IT area (Garmin, Google, Sprint and many others) so there's lots of good paying jobs and many people have lots of money because JO Co is in the top 10 most affluent counties in America, or so I've heard. This is really good for my business as a contractor because people have lots of disposable income to spend with me when I remodel their homes :wink2: The other good thing about where I live is the schools are outstanding if you plan on raising a family anytime soon. Although we obviously don't have an ocean out here, there are lots of fun lakes in the summer and we get a true and full four seasons out here! Other attractions are: Kansas Speedway, really good Hunting & Fishing, Casino gambling, Sprint Center, Power & Light District (night clubs & sports bars in downtown KC), Westport (More night clubs and sports bars) and lots of parks and recreation for the kids you don't have yet!

Good luck on choosing your destination, you have your work cut out for you buddy!

  4. Damn those are huge. Do you mind if I ask how much those were?

Yeah, the dude I ordered them from sent me that pic and those are probably slightly larger than the one's I'll be getting. Wilwood makes a 16" front rotor kit for our trucks but I got the 14.25" for all 4 corners so I have the option to run an 18" rim If I choose. The 16" rotor (probably the caliper in that pic) requires a 20" rim minimum.

Mine were $3500 with blue calipers (6 piston fronts & 4 piston rears) + 14.25" drilled and slotted rotors

Lmao that's a good one B. Naaa Randy is just like us man busts ass everyday to spend on his toys. Looking good buddy. Those sure would look god on one of my Blue's Lol :)

Thanks Jason - you're right, those would look KILLER on the Denali and the SS!! ...What's another 7g's in the grand scheme of things?!?!

  5. I find this interesting. I figured reservoir to heat exchanger, then to supercharger, then to reservoir, so you're lowering temps of coolant before it reaches supercharger. But then I guess if you do it that way, it'll heat soak the reservoir... So reservoir, to supercharger, to cooler, to reservoir is the way to go huh?

I ditched the Bosch pump and bought this when I upgraded to the bigger Fluidyne heat exchanger.

That's the way mine's set up right now with the tiny Maggie reservoir (if you want to call it that), but remember, mine was a complete kit from Magnuson which had installation instructions from the factory: out of SC, into reservoir, into pump, into heat exchanger, back into SC. You guys got the jackshaft which is what they call their hot rod kit and has no instructions since they weren't made for our trucks. What Eddie's saying def. makes sense with the addition of an ice box when you're using it as an ice box, that is. What about every day driving though? You obviously can't pull over every few miles and keep adding ice, so the million dollar question is - does this way work just as good or better than the factory says to install everything WITHOUT adding the ice for DD? ...This is also why I was thinking to just install another pump after the new ice box. If I were to keep everything where it is now, add the ice box but no pump after it, I don't think it would flow into the SC properly unless there was another pump or a relocated pump to where Eddie's saying.

  6. relocate old pump under or near new tank and run bottom front outlet hole in new tank to pump and pump out to super charger in then out of SC to aftercoolers and back to top hole in new ice tank ...

Can you post up a pic of exactly where you mounted your pump? Before I start moving everything around, I'd like to have a good spot for it already picked out, problem is, I don't see one near/under the ice box. The pump I'm running is the Bosch 0392022002

  7. Only worked a half day today so I decided to take the SS out for a little spin since I haven't driven her in a quite a while - So much more fun to drive than my beastly DD! Anyway, got home and decided to install the ice tank. I'll re-route the lines this weekend if the weather's not too bad

Does anyone know if I should relocate the pump over to the passenger side - under the new tank perhaps? ...leave the pump where it's at or leave the pump where it's at and install a new one under the new ice tank so I have 2 pumps???

  8. Yeah, it's in perfect condition the truck only had about 30k miles on it when I took it out. I did a 4L80e swap about a year ago and ordered a new gear from Time2kill for $650.00 instead of pulling mine and shipping it to him to have him modify it. He charged me an extra $200.00 for the core so I'm guessing that's what he sells them for. ...Shoot me an offer!

  9. Nah i didn't. Just talking out my ass. I don't have any track time with my Maggie yet. Are you launching at idle?

I've tried both with slightly better results stalling it up to around 2k

  10. They were like 700$ from Hughes Racing. TCI makes some that PATC uses in some of their trans builds but I found out from Chuck at FLT the TCI ones are horrible quality and are pitted everywhere which makes them very unstable and would most likely break under high boost. I called PATC to confirm who manufactures those gears and the dude told me TCI - I even questioned him about the quality so he went back and actually looked at the gears for me and told me, "they look pretty rough". Glad I found the ones from Hughes. There they use stock GM gears and modify them to the new gear ratios.

  11. the motoforge are only 30lbs ;) time2kill has some for sale

Thanks man. Yeah I saw those, they're sweet but I'm def. not looking to drop another 3k on rims just to run the 1/4 mile a few times a year. I actually found a set on CL last night for like 300 bones I may be interest in

  12. I understand your pain man - family first, big boy toys take the back seat...for now anyway!

I said the same exact thing but instead I said F it I'm only gonna live once and kept it. Bought a brand new truck and don't regret the decision at all. If it sits a few days O well. When I drive it all I do is :) :) GL on the choice you make

That's great news Jason, you won't regret it brutha!
