I have CAI and exhaust (and now a ported TB). I did this because I figured that it might help the Tune out. I've been in contact with Justin about getting a tune so i figured I better do it before the tune. I didn't reset the pcm, which I'll do today and monitor my mpg. I don't have issues with idling, i did a pretty good job keeping the idling port in the TB identical in size, its just slopped.

While this was technically free, I bet it cost me more money than it was worth in electricity to run the dremel. I bet the tornado gas saver is more effective than this.

yep I got pics...and you better believe i'm posting them. I mean geesh, this ranks right up there with buying sand in a desert.....its pointless as crap, lol.

So I was bored and thought to myself..."hey port your throttle body" and I replied, "Sure, why not." and then I told myself, "Hell yeah!!" as you can see porting ur throttle body will make you nuts!!!!!!!! My review on it, Don't do it. I've only drove about 3 miles...and I know that's not enough time to realllllly tell, but i don't see much improvement compared to the work. There is quite a bit to mess up too. The truck does seem to coast better...soooo maybe it will net some better mpg.

Thank you, I thought it had to be installed into the tranny cooler...it just sits there? I thought it was much more involved than that.

^^^I've never heard of this being a problem. It may have just been a bad one, I was gonna run one on the celica and sold it first. A friend had one is a B18 swapped civic that tuned nicely and worked great. They make a few accessories for it too.

can you guys get me a pic of the air temp sensor...as in where you drilled the hole to install it? Thanks....going to Autozone, I might pic this up and install it with the botie since the grill will be off.

^^^you are correct. It allows you to run more boost safely and prevent detonation.

I've already ordered one in Red, and I must say that Shopman1 (Brad) is awesome to do business with. I went with the brushed aluminum look and the Red "SS" as I think it will flow well with the silver painted grill and "SS" emblems on the truck. I can't wait to install mine...they look great in the pictures!!!! ~Jason

on cold days mine does the same thing. So far since I've owned the truck it seems to avg about 120* is this pretty normal? It spiked for the first time at 150* and I wasn't doing anything but driving straight ahead..... .

What hood is that? 2). you might want to post some pics of the interior (seat condition, etc.) 3). Listing the modifications may help, too.

Hows the cam for a daily driven street/strip.....occasional romp on it around the street and a few passes down the strip.

does this cam need springs, rockers...anything like that to be used? And how aggressive is this cam compared to cams available?

I just bough an 05 AWD (it does not have the leather seats or the DIC) it does have the dual digtal climate controls though and had 30,584 miles on it. I paid 16,500.00 I have located a total of 2 dings...one on the hood and one on the bed rail- 1 scratch in the bed - and one area of about 4" by 2" of stress crack on the front bumper....I found it while relocating the antenna.
