  2. I sent you a PM about the clock spring and steering wheel controls, did you receive it?
  3. I'm very interested in this, can you please send pics to [email protected]. also is 200.00 shipped? It would be shipped to 28327
  4. AWD----as for burnouts....after more mods 4 wheel burnouts are TWICE as cool.
  5. That looks very clean...I'd be interested if I had the center console.....I have a jump seat, since mine isn't bose. I think the original owner paid as much brand new for anti-options as it would have been to get the options, LOL. I own the most basic SS ever!!!
  6. Also interested in the Headers and possibly the hood PM me prices shipped to 28327 (NC). Everyone is interested in these, lol.....shouldn't take too long to sell.
  7. Ready for it???.....Seriously...hold onto your pants. My extended warranty is with-------drumroll------FORD!!! just did thepowertrane *sp*...for 820.00 ish for 5 years/100,000 (I have 32K).
  8. how much is different from v1 to v2.
  9. I could possibly be interested if someone starts working on it... coated all the way.
  10. Very nice thread... I know it will help keep out drone from exhaust, too.
  11. Has he given a set price yet? Shipping would be to 28327....and now that someone is getting a how-to together, I'm interested. Do the screws actually drill into the tailgate or just press against it? Also, I'm looking at getting some line-x done....will this fit over the thin layer of line-x?
  12. I have one on my 05 SS... looks plug n play
  13. the passenger mirror reverse thing....is it only in trucks that have the DIC? that is the one option I would really love to have. I know on the NNBS's you can just buy the DIC separate and the wire is already there...no re-flashing needed.
  14. +1 more, still very nice and very nice work.
  15. Sorry, been working nights...last one and then my 4 days OFF whewww whooo. I'm in NC, I don't think he'd mind me telling everyone his name and someone may know him. His name is Josh Forrester and he took exceptional care of the truck. Zippy if you still have the file that would be very cool, too. I was also gonna ask you which tuning software you use, I was looking at EFIlive from Justin (do you sell tuning software?). I thought it would make it easier to send the files and be able to re-tune it myself after certain mods. I know I wanna do LT's coming up in the next few months. Question: Are corvette synchros recommended w/o a shift kit? I think I could possibly install the 2nd gear synchro myself.
  16. It def does make me feel even better about the truck. He knew of the boards, I didn't ask his screen name though, I don't want to bother him about the truck too much. I know he traded it in on a 09 Mustang GT. I might contact him for Zippy's number at some point and I'll ask him then. I'm glad I didn't go buy a lower temp thermastat though or PCM tune yet.
  17. So I knew the owner of my truck lived around here somewhere and I met someone at a garage/towing business less than 10 miles from my house who recognized the truck. We got to speaking and he said that the gentleman who owned the truck before me was very particular, which I guessed because it only had 30k miles on it and hardly a scratch in the bed. After speaking for a little while he gave me the guys number to call and find out about the mods that he had already done to the truck.... and here they are K&N fipk CAI, Flowmaster True Duals, 160* thermostat and a Zippy Performance Tune. I knew the truck shifted a lot better than most people said stock should, and I also knew that a corvette was messing with me when I first bought the truck, and he never really gained and I never pulled until we hit somewhere around 90 mph....which he seemed to be picking up a lot of speed and pulled away. The previous owner was very cool, he didn't mind calling me back and letting me know about the mods and also offering to find Zippy's number if I needed a re-tune after a cam and LT's.
  18. awesome drawing...and def a good color choice, haha.
  19. This is my interior package....it seems like the awd was expenive option so some people opted out of leather.
  20. As the title says, I sorta ended up mud bogging in the SS, UNINTENTIONALLY. We recently had about 8inches of snow here, which the truck did absolutely great-- including ice. I went to the far end of yard, it's kind of a transformed field into about a 1/4 acre yard extension. It can get a little soft but never like this. I was turning around back there and I thought for a brief second that I was "slipping" and I didn't think anything else about it. Until I woke-up yesterday and I had some red clay down the side of the truck....it wasn't to bad. THEN I looked at my yard!!! The ruts are between 8-10" deep and torn up like crazy---the entire portion of the lot. The AWD in these things are awesome for traction, I know the 4x4 in the yard wouldn't have came out of that easily.
  21. the credit union is awesome, it saved me about 30-40.00 a month because it was at 5.75%. Before I got my SS I was trying to steal away an 08 Silverado LTZ with nearly 12K in rebates....They were ALLLLLL gone besides 1 on the east coast. I'm happy with my SS.
  22. It'll be interesting to see what my idle looks like down the road when do cam swap. It might be a pain in rear or might help quite a bit. I know on my dodge the larger TB was awesome, I think the chevrolet's stock design is pretty well matched for stock heads and intake. I wonder if it would've made a difference using the l92.
