i love my hifonics, its a 1200 rms / 2400 max powering 4 10" JL W3's and it pounds! but if you havent had good luck with them try www.hifisoundconnection.com for a refurb kicker amp. theyre pretty cheap and just as good as new. my buddy is running 3 of them in his truck.

i had a power acoustik amp in my first go-around for a system and in my opinion it SUCKED! theyre cheap and claim they have alot of power but if you have them tested they put out nowhere near the power that they say and the sound quality of your subs will be horrible in comparison to a higher quality amp. look into an inexpensive Kicker amp or if you need alot of power at a smaller price Hifonics would be the way to go.

Id have to go with the Camaro SS just because im obssessed with camaros. Also heard theres a guy down in talledega, fl that will do a custom rebuild of them from the ground up with over 900rwhp in the end. id have to say id be more than happy with that

i just want something to hold me over until i can 1. afford a custom tune and 2. have more mods to really justify getting the custom tune. i know everyone dislikes handheld programmers but ive had experience with hypertech in the past and as long as it doesnt hurt anything a little power isnt bad

Well my rear door speakers took a crap and I need to replace them ASAP! Really only need the rears but might buy fronts as well if needed. Like i said i need them quick before I install my HU, amp and subs.

ive got 4 JL W3 10's in mine and im extremely happy with them. I think the 12's meet the criteria youre looking for as far as mounting depth and air space and IMO JL subs are the cleanest sounds subs around and not all that expensive.

have you guys tried taking the speakers out and hooking them up to another truck to make sure its not the speakers or hooked up another speaker to your rear door wiring to see if they play? just a thought but i went through the same thing and found outit was my speakers, not the amp. they had no noise to them at all, not even a buzz or hum. just a thought

i really only need the rears because mine were blown when i bought the truck ...anyway, whats the bottom dollar on all 4, cant hurt to have some spare fronts.

i would think once you get the rear sensors shut off it would correct the problem and shut the engine light off after it recycles for a day or so. as far as blowing part of the o2 sensor out the exhaust thats a new one on me, never heard of that happening before. i ran open headers on my 2003 5.3L for a while and as soon as it realized the rear o2 sensors weren't reading what they were supposed to it ran like crap and nearly died out while sitting at red lights...got the sensors shut off and within a day it went back to normal with no codes
