Its locked while the tune is on the truck so you can't use it on multiple vehicles at one time. I de-tuned the truck before i sold it so the programmer is unlocked and ready to be put on another truck.

Bought this programmer for my old truck and took the tune off when i sold it. Its the Hypertech Power Programmer III, part # 30019. It will fit 2003 year model Chevy/GMC trucks, SUV's and Hummers 4.3, 4.8, 5.3, 6.0 (non-SS) and 8.1L engines. It fits 2003 only and will not work for 2003 Silverado SS's. New they run about $300 bucks, im hoping to get $150 obo. The $150 price will include free shipping. Thanks, Zach

mine had the same problem, except it waited till 72,xxx miles to mess up and stick. not a cheap fix and the dealer wouldnt budge on the 2000 miles over warranty

I was just going to go back with a replacement Delco filter when i planned on replacing mine, also thought it was an easy fix till i found out my fuel filter is in the tank instead of inside the frame rail...

Got mine also, even came out of a blue sss let me know if your interested and make an offer, i dont need the thing. paint is all good on it.

not to jack the thread but looking at the pics i noticed something screwy about my truck compared toy ours and i would assume to alot of peoples. On my 03 5.3L silverado the fuel filter was in-line inside the frame rail sameas on your truck in the 5th picture. On my 04 SSS its in the tank...wtf? Anyone know why some are in line filters and other are in the tank? Only thing i could think of is where it was made.

I'm running 2 Flowmaster 10 series single chambers on my SSS and its really not THAT loud and not alot of drone either. Im also planning on adding a set of OBX lt's and since the cats are hollow im sure its going to wake up my exhaust note a little bit. With the stock manifolds and cats the single chambers arent bad but i have a feeling after i get my headers i will be going to a different muffler setup.

the pacesetters are good, but if you get the painted ones like in that link i would reccomend sanding/bead blasting the paint off and hitting them with a couple of coats of hi-temp/armor coat paint. i did that with the set i put on my 03 5.3L and it worked out well. just my .02
