i love the all black look, looks stealthy . are you going to have to relocate the computer ?or does the driver side turbo clear all of that stuff over there ?

have you ever takin yours down the track ? if so what do they run?

thanks for the kind words guys. got the head studs and ls9 gaskets installed last night and actually sat down and put a list together on what i need to get done till i can turn the key so that will give me something to work toward and gives me a light at the end of the tunnel ( list is about 20 items long).good thing is a couple friends are coming over tonight to help out and give me some motivation because ive been real unmotivated lately working on this alone , no fun.

I also like the whole reason your butt hurt cause gm didn't replace your brake pads after a year of owning the car. Everybody knows that brakes are a wear item and are not warrenteed . Sure a year is a short time for brakes to go bad but come on you said the turbo went bad as well? Its from a Chevy aveo , cost around $30 from Chevy parts counter at the dealership .

as long as the turbo is moved it can slide in and out with out a problem .the down pipe is one piece from the turbo to the bottom of the frame rail .from there i got like a 90 degree elbow that is pointed out to the side that is slightly bigger then the 5" dp so it slides over it tightly and clamps on with a big hose clamp. i did it like this cause i didnt want to run a muffler or anything but made it like this so if i sell the kit in the future you could connect a full exhaust to it if you wanted too .

also check the wiring that goes into the relay my fans stopped working and it was a loose wire coming out the bottom of the relay.

what about the relays, did you check those ?

why would it be slowly be leaking? the valve should be wide open when your not WOT or even parked . have you checked the valve to see if its opening and closing? as soon as you kill the motor there should be 0 pressure in the system.

dude it got to 110 this week! ive never seen it that hot here, usually it hit above 100* 2-3 days a year if we are lucky but this last week was brutal .

looking good ! there is no secret to e85 all you need is 30% more fuel and pump then what you would normally run . i run 2 -255 walbro's with a -8 feed line into billet ls1 fuel rails that feed the bosch 127# injectors , at the back of the second rail i got a aeromotive regulator into a -6 return line, its pretty straight forward. i did a build thread on my fuel system a while back if you want to dig for it in the build section. with my new turbo set up i think the 255's will be tapped b4 i can turn it up to where i want it so im thinking of getting 2 walbro 400's and call it good .

well got the oil lines done,got the overflow coolant tank relocated and mounted with some custom brackets and the waste gate piping is tacked and ready for the tig. getting real close to fire up but with the high heat lately i havent been real motivated ...

I live in Idaho so we get a fair share of snow and I had pirreli Scorpions for the last 4 years and they did good in the snow and had a cool look to them as well. I recently purchased some 420's for the truck and they appear to have a good rain pattern on them but they look a lil smooth to be good in the snow but will see .
