  1. You should install it into the trash can. LOL . Only thing I would put one of those blowers on would be a rock crawler.
  2. man that sucks, seems like i hear more negative things on built motors then positive things these days. makes me scared to get something built .
  3. Both are on all the time that way I know they are working and can see instantly when one isnt working on the fuel pressure gauge.
  4. didnt take any pics of the 450's in there but basically its 2 450's with -6 line that merge into y that has 2 -6 ports and one -8 exit port that goes to the fuel rail.nothing too special really , simple and to the point. if you go back on my fuel system build in the build section you can look it up and see how it is with the dual 340 i had. its pretty much the same set up just with the 450's is all. as far as wiring they each got there own positive with a fuse on each so i can test them individually (think i used 10g wire) and they share a 10g negative ground wire .
  5. what did that cost to repair and what went bad on it ? strut , compressor ? thats good to hear that nothing major has happened to it and its been running solid ! mine is a 07 also . you couldnt pay me to put one of those POS's on one of my vehicles .
  6. for the most part yes, im kinda wanting to black it out like my truck but i dont know how thats going to work with the chrome . i dont know if it has to be blasted or sanded b4 you paint it or remover completely. only other mod im really interested in is maybe a lil turbo to give it a lil extra power for towing .... at least thats what im trying to convince the wife thats what its for .... how many miles does your has and any problems at all with it so far? just kinda curious all of the electronics in this thing scares me cause that is my weak suit is wiring . yep AWD ftw! when i asked them about it they replied " they are all AWD , well atleast ive never seen one with out it" is what the salesmen said. those are nice as well ! i wish they had a better towing capacity otherwise i would have just got one of those , ive never spent this much on a car b4 (28k) made me nervous but the payment isnt bad at all , hell my ss payment was more lol . thanks everybody else on the compliments , im very excited about it and i cant wait to see the ss hitched up behind it ! and just to clear things up its the wifes DD im still using a 95 s10 lol
  7. thanks buddy. and a lil update , got both my walbro 450's installed today . just got 2 more things i got to get done before i leave to vegas , hydro boost and boost controller but ive been debating the boost controller i might just let it eat ... lol
  8. well after 4 years of owning the tahoe i decided it was time to get into something a lil newer and that can tow my stuff with out any problems so i decide to pick one of these up ! its got the 6.2 with the 6l80 in it, im stoked! what a pair made in heaven!! im pretty excited, i could never afford one of these new but a good deal came up locally for it used and came with the 24" giavanna rims (lil baller looking for me) i think im going to get them painted black to tone it down a notch , lol.
  9. i would recommend zippy for n/a or f/i . ok i should have been a lil more clear but i still believe your tune is only as good as your tuner . with that said sending a pcm off to get written to is by far the worst way of doing it but is OK for light mods (INTAKE, EXHAUST,HEADERS ,ETC...). when i say mail order tune i also include logging the info via HPT or EFI weather it be with a lap top or those lil data loggers that you send off via email or mail to your tuner. i personally log with HPT and send my logs via email to zippy and he makes the changes and emails me back a file i can up load , i still consider this mail order tune. this method is highly effective and works good and would recommend this method with zippy over a local tuner that says hes a pro because he has a dyno and has been doing it for years . i have had 3 different tuners tune my truck and i couldnt believe the difference it made when the REAL tuner got his hands on it if i remember right (it was a while ago) the truck was running 13.5 and with the real tuners tune it ran 12.7 with no other changes. needless to say i have never looked back and im a believer of MAIL order tunes if done this way.
  10. your tune will only be as good as your tuner no matter if its mail order or live tune . be picky when you choose a tuner and make sure they have experience tuning with the goals you want to meet and modifications you have . some tuners are great at tuning N/A and suck at F/I. IMO look around and see who is tuning whos truck , see where that person is with there truck and if they are happy with it.

I like the black and the red on the center console but doing the lil pieces here and there that are all By them self like on the door panel and above the fuse panel and the oh $hit bar look like a$$ . Just my opinion of course but I think it could look cool if you kept it a lil more uniformed and not so mini trucker looking. Kinda like when people put chrome gas doors on lol.

  18. Definatly a s10 you can tell by the back of the cab where it meets the bed how it slopes to the bed unlike full size truck how they go straight up from the back of the cab.

  21. Thanks for the great info guys . I know nothing about heads and pistons sizes at this point and this is why a called upon you guys for help. At this point I'm going to pass on These heads it just sucks that they would bump my compression so much because its my friendthat is selling them and he lives in the same town as me and he was going to give me a killer deal on them but i just dont think they are the right head for what Im Wantkng to do here so I'm going to pass on them. Plus I need to build a short block first. I think I'm going to do a lsx427 so I'm going to have all kinds of questions for you guys lol.
