Actually, I would like to know if the 05 2wd Shocks and Torsion Bars are different from the AWD since you could have either option in 05...

It was publically avalible online and that particular one was completely detroyed unfortunitly... FWIW Since they only made 1,823 Black SS Silverado In 2006 and 933 were DEI models that leaves 890 Standard Black 06 SS trucks. DEI planed to make 1033 but the numbers were scaled back from a lack of sales. They were not alloted the last 100 Vehicales. This is eveident buy Low Production numbers and the fact that GM even offered cloth interiors as an option to reduce the cost. Like the guy in new york, People can put the badges and all the stuff they want on it but with out the proper documentation and ownership history of the truck from a collector Stand point its just another SS.

Ya but the option changed for different years. That site is not nearly as good as compnine was... It told you what it ment by the year range... as it says there are 4 differnt meanings for that RPO code. i beleve when it went to 2wd option in 05 and standard in 06 the 1SS was for the SS package

Thats the High Output Performance option Isnt it??? it chanaged in some years. in 05 up I believe 1SS is the SS package

Edited: SSI is the RPO code for the DEI SS package. You would have to contact the DEI corpartion and find out who can get you the info with your VIN number. The documintaion is the only way to prove it is what they say it is... other wise its just another one of the Standard 890 Black 06 SS trucks. Compnine used to be a great source for info but it is now out of buissnes. I believe 1SS in 06 was the SS Apearance package. Since they only made 1,823 Black SS Silverado In 2006 and 933 were DEI models either way its rare. But if it is a DEI model its only Valueble with the supporting documintation. Even then it's Value is determined by what others are willing to pay for it.

Just like the title says. Looking for the bracket that holds the front diff case to the frame.

Most likely they gave you the short one for a car application. All 99-up Trucks and SUVS I have worked on have a Deep Pan that use a longer filter. Every time I used to call for any truck or Suv of that vintage for a filter they ask me if it has a deep pan or a regular pan. I always had to order it for a deep pan. The RPO code is M32 for the 4L65E which is iddentical to the 4l60E. The differences are internal and would not affect the filter or gasket option. I would recomend getting an OE style filter and gasket. Stay away from those cheap cork gaskets...

Recently bought a set of E- fans from this gera04ss!!! We met in person at a neutral place. Transaction went smooth. We talked trucks and parts and I found out he had some other parts I was looking for. I met him the next day at his place to purchase the other parts. I even brought a co- worker and he purchased some parts for his truck. I would buy from him again and I wouldn't hesitate to refer other people. He did me right on all the stuff I bought and My co work was happy with the stuff he picked up!!!

Unfortunitly the Compnine site is gone.... no way to verify now. If you look at post 7, this is roughly what I found. 1,161 4x4 VMAX EXCAB based on RPO Options LQ9,AXN,GT5 Never looked up build numbers on crew cab units but I wish i would have now...

I will. I have to order the rest of the pieces to put the truck back together this week any way. I just thought some VHO letters on the door might give it a different look. No buddy knows what these trucks are any way. I thought script type letters might look better then the oem sticker type badge. Kinda like Z06, GTO, SS. That sort of thing...
