Has anyone sucessfully added steering wheel controls?
1FASTBRICK replied to EXGM's topic in Radio/Electronics/Security
You need the Clock spring for wheel controls, the steering column wire harness for wheel controls, and a steering wheel with controls in it. RPO Option UK3 I have heard some people have had to get the BCM reflashed while others have gotten lucky and it was plug and play. -
On your vehicle, 69I denotes Very Dark Pewter. 692 Trim Combination Leather, Very Dark Pewter Other years and Vehicles trim code 692 has various other color designations. Suburban's, Tahoe's, Avalanche's, Denali's could come with a 2 tone panel's such as a dark panel with light inserts or vice versa. These are some of the 04-06 designations; TRIM COMBINATION LEATHER, LT OAK/VERY DK PEWTER (692); TRIM COMBINATION LEATHER, PEWTER (692); TRIM COMBINATION LEATHER, VERY DK PEWTER (692) I believe the SS trim only came in Very Dark Pewter color.

Appears to be 69D/ 69I which is called Very Dark Pewter. This is different from 92I Pewter color which is more of a light grey color. I have some Bose door panels in that color but they are not cut for the factory seat heater option next to the lock. 03-05 will have the carpet on the bottom like yours. In 06 and 07 classic there is no carpet at the bottom. Just textured plastic like in the Ebay link above. Good luck! This is were the trim color code is located on the trim tag. http://www.newseatcover.com/yahoo_site_admin/assets/images/IMG_1200.246154908_std.JPG

That appears to be 69D/69I color. However that is specifically for an 06-07 as there is no carpet at the bottom. 03-05 models had carpet at the bottom.

What's the interior Color Code? Is it 69D/ 69I dark pewter?

It sure would be cool to see other RHD conversions from your country. If you 2 ever meet up, please take pictures!
-
You would be amazed at the amount of standard LHD parts that get tossed here a regular basis here in the states.
-
Wow, Came out real Nice! Is there a company over there that molds the dash parts for you Or do you have to buy RHD parts through a dealer over there?
-
Bump! Still looking for a right rocker moulding.
-
I just need a right hand side rocker cladding if any one has an extra that they are willing to part with.
-
Looking for a passenger side rocker if you get to them.
-
Which Side do you have?
-
Do you still have an extra set of rocker mouldings?

I only researched the 2004 and 2005 VHO production numbers. I never did the V-Max from 06 and 07 Classic but from what I remember it was something like 1700-1800 V-Max in 2006 VHO = Vortech High Output. 2004 and 2005 only available in Extended cab 2WD V-Max Vortec MAX 2006 and up available in Ex cab and crew cab as well as 2WD and 4x4

As long as he stand behind it this time. I purchased what was supposed to be the last one and It does fit Nor does it look very good. I have been trying to find some one to make me one ever since but no one wants to do a 1 off part. The metal separated under were the letters were milled out. It looks like it was pressed to much. The center of the emblem sits up to high as a result.

I would be intrested in one.

Actually the company that made the Engine cover is still in business and still has the molds so it can still be purchased. But some things don't seem right about it like the production number, the color, and the grill. With out the proper documentation its just a clean clone... definitely unique though.
