My drivers side rocker panel is coming loose. I can see its not hel on by 3m tape at all that its hel by those tracks or whatever they are called. So correct me if Im wrong of my know how to fix it. Ill have to take the push pins out of the bottom then lift it back down in the track then put the push pins back in. is this correct?

Well the truck is fixed now. The bad caliper I was referring to pretty much fell apart when I took it off form rust and crap. The lower piston extended a lil further than it could go and it cracked I guess cuz it fell to pieces when we got it off. Then to add to the problem my front calipers seized up on me and had to buy new calipers for the front. After all that crap the truck has brakes once again and much safer now. The braided lines I got wouldnt fit as I found out they were the wrong ones so have to send them back to Thunder Racing for the right ones.

Well I had to fill the master cylinder then I pressed the pedal a few times to try to build up pressure and couldnt. I looked under the truck at the lines and they were fine then I swa the fluid pouring from the caliper. So it appears I blew the seal out of the caliper without even taking it apart. Ill buy a new one and just do the break swap then. Just my luck when Im have a camd LS1 and stalled 4l80e put in my Firebird which is down right now also, lol

I didnt know the systm could deactivate the rear brakes...? I was thinking the booster went bad or a line busted but couldnt tell last night without any light so Ill check it today. They wouldnt pump up with the truck turned on but they would pump up with it off.

Ok Ive had my rear drivers side brake griding and whineing as of late. I knew it was getting bad because of this so I felt the rotor and the front has small trenches in it and the backside is even worse. I bought all new cross drilled rotors, Hawk HPS pads and Goodrich braided lines to put n the truck whihc came in today. Tonight I was going to walmart and I had to get on the brake hard to stop at a quick changing light and when I did I felt a pop or a jerk whcih seemed to be back by that wheel. Now when i pusht the pedal down it goes to the floor but it will still stop after uve pressed it hard enough. It seems its just the front brakes stopping possibly and I dont even hear the grindig noise in the back like there is no pressure back there. My brake light came on and it says to check brake system on the display. Its to dark for me to check right now so Ill lok at it tom. When the truck is off the brake pedal will still pump up like it should. Can someone tell me if I have a busted line , if the booster went out or what could be the problem here please. I thoguth I smelled fluid by the wheel with the bad rotor so maybe there is a leak bake there......................Help please!

I found a set of 05-06 GTO brake calipers pretty cheap. Im prettty sure they are the same type of calipers used on the C5 vettes. Would these work on our trucks and would it be worth it to do the setup? The reason IM wondering is I noticed my rear brake on drivers side has been squeeling and its been running really hot which leads me to belive my caliper is sticking. The rotors on the drivers side are also starting to get trench marks in them. If they wont work Ill jsut save my money and jsut replace my rotors and brakes. I plan to get Hawk pads. I have a set of cross drilled slotted rotors so Ill just order another set of those.

Those who know of my car on here Ive been making plans to get a LS1 car or swap a LS1 into my car. The time has come to where Im dong the swap. Ive found a car much like my v6 car. Its same year 2001, same color Pewter, and its just 7,000 more miles than my car at 89k. Im doing the LS1 with a LG G5x3 cam along with some other goodies backed with a 4l80E w/Edge 3400 stal. I will also be doing a few other things to the car. The looks of the car will stay the same minus the addition of the leather seats from the TA. I hope all goes well and just wanted to give a little update on my car. Right now the car is a cam and boltons car with full suspension making 206rwhp / 200rwtq. This will be a big difference to me after the transformation.

I just installed the Scytek Galaxy 5000RS unit in my truck and I have to say I love it already. I got a LCD remote with this unit also. I know the winter season is pretty much over but Ill still use it in the spring on occassion. It will be fun to mess with people who are by the truck not expecting anythign and start it to get the wth impression.

It is different Ill give it that but all-in-all its pretty sad. However, it may look a tad better if it was lowered.....perhaps.....

I found an AMD ram air hood on ebay for 400. I was wondering if these brand of hoods are worth a shite. Ive heard of them but dont know mcuh of them. Im looking to sellmy Boss 332's and this will be jsut for the wheels and not the tires that are on them. The reason for selling is that Im wanting another set of wheels for this year. Thesee wheels have only been ran for one spring/summer season and were takeng off during the fall before any snow hit. Ther is not any curb rash at all on these wheels. I paid about 1100 for them brand new and Im thinking Id like to ger 800 for them. Just as the titale states Im looking for the mirror courtesy light housings for both sides. I need them so I can put my LED bulbs in. The housings on the truck now will not come open without breaking them as the scrws have rusted and will not come out. So if someone has a set they cna part with or knows the part number for these let me know,. Thanx!
