  1. I got mine 1 day b4 one of my grand daughters birthday... flew to Des Moines, Iowa with the wife and promised her id get her home in time in Upstate, NY for her party ... made it! Fun drive/good times... loved the pressure.
  2. Sucks I didn't win the last pr and how can the 03 not be included in the ap list. Were you the last guy selling the other ones, or did you win them and here they are marked up w/ higher shipping to boot?
  3. Nope, mine is set at like 155, due to the SC. Diablosport FTW (so far)
  4. Dude, seriously(?), you're asking if this is a suitable replacement? lol... um it is . Pardon my ignorance, but is it a FWD, AWD or RWD?
  5. It's what I would rather have than my Powerdyne, aren't their discharged air cooled too (after cooled, cause isn't it below the SC)?
  6. I'm gonna do that when I'm an old(er) fart.
  7. Eh, the Diablo is fine depending on what's done to her. I'm still using a 7193 for my tune too and with the SC too Depends on the milage of the truck, but for part throttle, I'd say max out shift speed and pressure and adj as needed, but WOT, ramp it up slowly... maybe 3% at a time. Also, make sure your LTFT's are dialed in.
  8. Ha, just noticed this post/vid is ... you hit like 122 or 123 mph actually Had to watch it again, Frickin awesome accel man!
  9. Yeah, that'll work ay! nice
  10. Bump. Just wondering if anyones gone this route.
  11. Welcome to the site and good luck finding yourself a bad ass truck. You'll even see them for sale on here so that's a good starting point. Yeah, as with any vehicle, there are issues, IMHO, the one thing I don't like is the fact that it's a matter of time b4 my tranny goes. Can't really seem to handle much more than stock power levels. Atleast with you being in FL, you shouldn't need AWD. If I had to do it again, I might have gone the clone route. Buy a (selectable) 4WD truck, reg cab even and let the mods begin. This is my 4th truck with the LS* engine and 3 of them have had the SC in them, and I finally got the SS, I love it just really wish... selectable instead of AWD. Hope this helps ya.
  12. I apologize for what I am about to do, but it's well deserved. For mature readers only: first time in my life I feel that way
  13. Carls LQ9 SS... ahhh sweet envy, me and my clutter filled 1-car.

  14. Wow, what a bunch of crap! sucks that it'll be word against word tho. Good luck and way to restrain yourself, well kinda. Make sure you pass the word to the locals as I'm sure you already are.
  15. Wow, I've got the in tank Walbro and it supplies plenty of fuel. I don't know what injectors you have, mine are Delphi 42#. I'm also around 7 psi boost, and don't know what yours is at. Ok, I'll shut up now and good luck
  16. ^^^ +1 and that's got to be the shortest reply MrP has ever left
  17. Just kiddin man, but hook us up with pics.
  18. Yeah, I've got this too. I think it may be a carrier bearing going, seems more notable on decel & turns at pretty much any spd. I'm prolly having it rebuilt early November by my buddy that'll be doing my NYSI. He quoted me $700.00 to do it a while back, I find that VERY reasonable and that's parts and labor. We'll see, but I've known him a long time and I refer ppl to him, so...
  19. Ok, still contemplating this... what about hammer finish? Saw it at Homer Depot, seems high gloss black and hammer finish, and it sticks to plastic too, so a lot less (oxy moron, sry) prep work. and I still plan on clear coating the hell out of them. They also have metallic paint that sticks to plastic, but not in black, bastards... gotta be black!
  20. +1, some ahole got my DS door, so I get to see it every day. Most wouldn't even see it... but I know it's there.
  21. What about painting the black area of the side mirrors too, that's one thing I like about black trucks. PITA to keep clean maybe, but I like the all one color thing (except the bowtie on front grill ). Also, where are your Onstar and XM antena? Me is confused
