now I think of it. The repair cost of broken trannys, exhausts and other random stuff adds more to mine
-
I am affraid to sit down and figure it up. I would say its a easy $20k then add in the price of the truck new. $41k
-
where is the truck located? I might be interested in the complete wiring harness and the computer.
-
I have heard a few people have problems with their sts setup causing something like this.
-
From what I recall, there was only like 6 non dealer installed options available in 03 (besides color).
1. Automatic digital climate control
2. OnStar
3. XM
4. Cassette or 6 disk in dash
5. Trailer package
6. Underseat storage box (I think)
Could be wrong though!
i think thats right but the underseat might have been dealer item.

what are your mods to run those nice mid 12s NA?
408, big heads, decent cam. full exhaust, 90mm truck intake. flt65e and thats about it.

There is a bunch of us getting together nov 15th at capital.

Well it was crowded and traction was bad. I didn't spray any. my first run I spun thru 1st gear 12.88@106 with a 1.98 60ft. my 2nd run was decent but still spun some I ran 12.58@106 n/a with a 1.68 60ft and backed it up 2 hours later with 12.66@106 with a spinning 1.75 60ft. race weight was 5380lbs.

Yessir, passenger diesels have had catalytic converters since 2008......
they have had converters at least since the 90s. 2007 they came out with what is called a particulate filter that burns excess fuel in the exhaust that is in place of a cat. if this is tampered with it cancels the warranty
-
Gonna do anything to her? GOTTA atleast do intake, turbo back, and a tune
REALLY make her tow some $h!t... Like a few FURDS
its staying 100% stock. well maybe a drop in air filter but thats it. too much emission stuff to void the warranty.
-
i hate it. should have bought something i could make money off of.
well I would still be in the ford if it ever got fixed oh yeah and it was faster than your sss
-
nice truck , im in the boat for similar. i just dont think i need a dually . i dont plan to tow a whole lot and everyone i know always seems to jack knife a trailer into the big wheel wells.
lmm or lml??
i am guessing they are jack knifing a goose neck or 5th wheel. I dont need a dually either but its my work truck. Its a LMM I think 2011 is when the lml comes out.

I will have to look and see. there are a few of us getting together down here at capital raceway on the 15th.
-
Well I sold the F250 and ended up getting this as a work truck. So far its good. I have to get some tow mirrors for it.
-
I havn't used a air freshner in the sss yet. it still kinda has a new smell to it on top of the exhaust fumes of 114 leaded. in my work trucks i use the yankee candle car jars macintosh apple. they smell great.
-
Congrats Amanda.
Wait wasn't some one saying that the ford was slow when we were at OK Joes?
