  1. That is really weird with the fuel system. At your power level you should be just stretching a single pump system. Doing a stand alone system though will help since you can increase the line size coming up to the front. At least you keep getting faster every time out. Your N/A numbers are only a touch slower than your best times with the 6.0L and nitrous. Well done sir, well done.

yeah i can only think of the stock fuel line just cant flow enough at this point. Next year I will get a stand alone fuel system and upgrade my n2o system to a dual stage and that should take care of all my problems right now. It also wouldn't hurt if i went to a shorter tire and lighter wheel. 305/50/20 on 20x9 wheel isnt the lightest and are 32" tall. If the temps were a little lower and i leaned it out more on my n/a run(ran 11.8:1) it might be closer to the n2o and 6.0 times.

  2. i went from the 2002 tac and speartech harness to a xlink and i have to work on my idle again  I am too impationt to fine tune the idle. I dont drive it enough for it to really make a difference. I am glad its running good. when you get a exhaust on it you will probably have to retune it lol.

  3. Since there were only 2 more days left with the track open it was crowded. I got in 2 runs in 3 hours. I got one n/a run and one n2o run.

I am still having fuel pressure problems. 2 intank 255 walbro's can only keep the fuel pressure at 50psi with n2o. I just need to do the stand alone and get it over with. I also have to get a new bottle heater that actually works, i heated up the bottle with map gas to 1200 and sitting in the staging lanes for over a hour it dropped to 800psi. Thought the heater was working but all it did was drain my battery. oh well there is always next year.

  4. Basically VHO's had selectable 4WD, whereas the SS was only AWD or 2WD.

Somebody on this forum has the best quote for it in their signature: "It's an SS from the waist up, and a Z71 from the waist down"

actually they were just about all 2wd's

  5. pleas explain to me the 400 ss badges is that a mexico thing cause ive seen that before and it was all mexicans. reason i ask is there is nothing "SS" about the truck and there is no 400 ci gm block

it is just sold in mexico. if you search i think there was a post a few years ago about them. I dont think there was anything different than a regular truck though.

  6. it was a big shot and my 60fts were 1.8 somthing. i dont spray coming out of the hole on a shot like that.

oh i have considerd alot of things lol but I have been over budget for a long time now so i pretty much will just have to live with what i have for now.

  7. well it made it to the 11s but I am not real happy with that. Reason being is i was running a decent size shot but my fuel pump just couldn't feed the injectors and the n2o with pressure dropping down to the low 50s also the n2o system was only working on 8 volts :wtf: I found that the next day because i was having to heat the bottle with a torch because my bottle heater wasn't getting hot enough. I am planning on getting a stand alone fuel system for the n2o and correct the voltage problem this fall.

  8. very nice, I am glad you got a stand alone system. i found out last night that the intank walbro just wont cut it with anything higher than a 75shot coming off the fuel rail.

i dont think you will have a problem with the rules. the track out here is only woried that you have a helmet, fire jacket and gloves.
