  2. ^^^ Exactly what I was thinking. Is that picture edible?
  3. Lol, are those leds on the mud flaps? I still don't get the whole truck nut thing...
  4. Wow, that's crazy expensive. Between just an iphone and a mifi we use 20 gb. As if the new upgrade fee wasn't enough... At this point it'd be cheaper to go pay as you go. On the other hand, I use a treo 650 and it doesn't even have 3g, just text and talk for me. http://blogs.wsj.com...red-data-plans/ http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/splash/shareEverythingCalculator.jsp According to this calculator our bill would go from 200 with surcharges and whatnot to 260 for their 10 gb share plan not including surcharges, and then we'd have to add some more data at a cost of 10 bucks per 2gb.

  6. I think lifted SS's look good,... when done right. Don't go overboard with HUGE tires and for mercy sake do not make the front end sit up higher than the rear. I think the factory 1500 4wd blocks in the rear and a bodylift would be plenty, crank the front torsions up slightly, but watch cv axle angles. They are critical in an awd vehicle.
  7. Furthest to the closest(to the master cylinder), in order, rr, lr, rf, lf.
  8. I'd keep the stockers and paint the brackets and coil packs and maybe the covers, as well. The stock pcv system does a good job of sucking the fuel vapors out of the crankcase and I definately wouldn't give it up for no reason. I don't see a port for a pcv OR the breather on those covers. You could just stick a breather in the oil fill hole, but it wouldn't do near as good as the stock suction setup. Less fuel in oil equals longer engine/oil life.
  9. How do you know it wasn't the 5.3?
  10. If you don't have one, that write up really doesn't apply to you, you'll have to tap into a tranny cooler line that runs to the radiator(passenger side) and route it to the cooler.
  11. Sure will, as long as it's got the stock tranny cooler.
  12. These are what I had on my truck, when it was an "ss", smh. Just cut the silverado part off the big sticker. And use the small ones for the brake calipers. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Silverado-SS-Decal-Graphic-Sticker-/350515447239?pt=Apparel_Merchandise&hash=item519c5945c7&vxp=mtr
  13. I used to have one, back in my high school days. It made for some fun runs through the wal-mart parking lot. As far as a speaker, I just used a loudspeaker from radio shack and a 3.5mm connector to plug it in to the pa jack. I know, I had a black and orange interior scheme back then, and some pedals from wal-mart.
  14. Lol, Frank Abagnale. You really had me rollin' with "A big nail" Almost as much as a good laugh I got today on BITOG
  15. I actually bought one of those, it's kinda lame. It says 6.0 liter V8 300hp, then it says "serious strength" under that, lol.
  16. Sounds like a big restriction to me. Making a 6.0l exhale through one cat when it originally exhaled through 2 is a downgrade, IMO. Why even have LT's at that point?
  17. How do you know when to stop? Do you have to keep getting in and out to check? That's tight as hell,... literally.
  18. I'll be different and say don't do it. I've heard that an allison 1000 won't fit a half ton without a body lift.
  19. I'd carpet it first, then put the plate on there and not skimp on the screws. Shouldn't be a problem, I've never seen a plated speaker box though, might look cool. Post some pics when you're done.
