  1. Autolite platinum 5245 gapped at .65-.70. Change them every 30k.
  2. We need a "say something about the person above you" thread.
  3. I kinda like these rims, if the truck was lower it would look great. my favorite black ones would have to be these.
  4. To me those bmf's are sorta overused, especially around here. But they're always on lifted trucks with mud tires as well.
  5. That's some damn good helpful information right there. Although I still couldn't find basic heads like 317, 706, or 853 castings.
  6. Link. But still no pics. Edit, pics. But still nothing red there.
  7. Only sport conversions I know of are joe gibbs and regency rst. That truck definitely does not look like a professional conversion from that pic. You really should've ran it, I bet it has a stock 5.3, unless of course it was a vho or v-max.
  8. Exactly she needs to get on her old account(and it better be close to 6 years old like she said) and post once in that thread, otherwise I believe shes lying. The fact that she's just ignoring that question just further reinforces that statement.
  9. I'm with you, I've only been on this site for 4 days and I've seen more people selling stuff than on any other forum I've been on, which is fine if you've been here awhile, but someone whose user name is "04 ss for sale".....I mean come on. And yeah, as soon as I saw that truck with 3 steel wheels, missing cladding, and the owner is too lazy to even wash and wax the damn thing. That makes me wonder about other critical maintenance like oil changes.
  10. I know right, can someone say neglected?
  11. Wow, and 100% streetable, insane.
  12. I've seen that pic many times on FB.
  13. A chevy engine in a ford is a hotrod. A skyline engine in a ford is . Putting a 5.0 in a vette would mean another gm bankruptcy. Plus tokyo drift was only the stupidest fast and furious ever, what a screw-up that whole movie was. But all jokes aside, it's a hell of a project you got there.
  14. You oughta put a ls style engine in the mustang, but a SC on a ford engine is decent enough.
  15. Where you located? If you decide to part it out let me know, I want some stuff. You'd probably get the same amout of money either way, except one way it would be a big chunk and the other a little at a time. But ss conversion stuff sells like hotcakes.
  16. Huh, liquid wax. I've obviously been stuck in the stone ages. Smell like vanilla?
  17. That truck is clean! That is some crazy shine. What brand of wax or polish did you use to do that?
  18. Damn, it would've been awesome to have one of those molded in the dash with HP tuners on it, or any sorta monitoring program for that matter. I bet people on ebay want 200 for them.
  19. Really good price but I doubt it'll ever run HP tuners. Discontinued.
  20. But you gotta give it to him, he did paint the engine cover to match...sorta.
  21. Just thought I'd show y'all what I stumbled upon today while searching for a nearby SS. It probably has a 4.8l. Come on, at least do some colormatching you know. Intimidator?
  22. Hi, after reading around here for a while I decided I needed to sign up so I can view of the pics y'all post as well as vote in the poles. I do realize that I do not own an SS and thus do not belong here, but I just wanted to thank the many people of this site for helping me with various projects on my truck. I've been a member on gm-trucks for quite a while and didn't really realize they were owned by the same people. Proof. And y'all have awesome silveradoss.com videos on youtube.
