  1. ^^^Having a truck that needs to be towed home on a flatbed sucks elephant dick.
  2. They look right to me. Bigger part of the S down. Needs chrome removal.
  3. So fast the wheels have lightning bolts on em'.
  4. Very true, but it just looks like a gmt-900 2wd pickup to me. We'll just have to wait and see.
  5. Yeah, an ss with tow mirrors, I really doubt they make another ss for a while. I don't see what's so sporty about it, having chrome rims does not make a truck sporty at all. It sits up higher than my 3/4 ton, and has a typical 2wd stance.
  6. Has it been filled yet, does sss.com even have 20 active members?
  7. I can resize it to specs, but I never have been able to make a "cool" sig. pic. I did this one because I personally HATE mud.
  8. The limit is currently 5 users at any one time.
  9. No email for me, I gotta say I feel left out.
  10. "V for vendetta J for justice" lol. I have half a mind to go ahead and watch their movie that they think EVERYONE should see.
  11. Huh, 10:23 eastern, and still working. Forum clock is way behind, though.
  12. I'll be honest and say I dislike Gavin's avatar. First of all, I hate crown vics, they remind me of the po-po. Secondly, every time I see it, I watch it over and over again and loose track of what I was even doing in the first place.
  13. Yep, same for me, it quit last night for about an hour and started doing it again.
  14. You want to put a 3157, instead of a 3157na in the socket? It'll work, but it'll be illegal, but what isn't. Just get some amber led 3157 for the socket, it'll be clear when off and amber when on? Of course, with leds you will have to put a resistor in parallel for it to flash properly.
  15. I think it looks pretty good, I love plasti-dip. Not as much as that dipyourcar.com guy on youtube, though. I think the mesh needs a coat as well, three different colors on the front end is too much, IMO.
  16. Freakin' hell, sorry for the double post, I keep getting this silveradoss.com driver error message that screws me up. This one to be exact.
  17. Not for me, however I did put my wipers a little lower on the splines, when I repainted them about a year ago. They're not near as noticeable as they once were.
  18. The size of spark plug gap was dependent on the type of plug used. When Chevy used platinum, they gapped them at .060. When they switched to iridium, they gapped them at .040 for smoother idle reasons. There is a TSB on it if you search. FWIW, I sidegap mine at .055. Matter of fact, here it is. Document ID# 1396703 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subject: Information on New Spark Plugs and Gapping #03-06-04-060 - (10/24/2003) Models: 2004 Buick Ranier 2002-2004 Cadillac Escalade, Escalade EXT 2003-2004 Cadillac Escalade ESV 2004 Cadillac CTS-V 1997-2004 Chevrolet Corvette 1998-2002 Chevrolet Camaro 1999-2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2000-2004 Chevrolet Suburban, Tahoe 2002-2004 Chevrolet Avalanche 2003-2004 Chevrolet Express, TrailBlazer 1999-2004 GMC Sierra 2000-2004 GMC Yukon, Yukon XL 2001-2004 GMC Yukon Denali, Yukon XL Denali 2002-2004 GMC Sierra Denali 2003-2004 GMC Envoy XL 1998-2002 Pontiac Firebird 2004 Pontiac GTO 2003-2004 Hummer H2 with 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L or 6.0L V-8 Engine (VINs V, P, T, Z, G, S, N, U -- RPOs LR4, LM4, LM7, L59, LS1, LS6, LQ9, LQ4) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A new spark plug has been released for use in the above vehicles. The new spark plug has an Iridium tip instead of the current Platinum tip. Due to the different tip design, the gap of the spark plug has also changed. The new spark plug, P/N 12571164 with AC Delco P/N 41-985, is gapped to 1.01mm (0.040 inches) when the spark plug is made. The spark plug gap is set during manufacturing and should not be changed or damage to the spark plug may result. Any new spark plug found to not be properly gapped should not be used. 19. You have to cut the rear seat in half and weld it back together, and then get it recovered. There's a how to somewhere, if I find I'll post it up.
