The taillight/bumper connections are on the rear left of the chassis mounted on the spare support. Its basically. A grey printed curcuit with four connectors on it.

The motors DO have stops and AREN'T keyed, so move them CCW to the stops, mark them with tape and a sharpie and remove with a fork.

If you're talking about the ten amp ign fuse in the top left of the driver's fuse panel, it's post switch. Meaning it only gets fire when the key is on.
-
What springs up front are you talking about? Lowering keys for the torsion bars?

black or chrome

I sprayed krylon fusion clear over plasti dip once, it looks great and came off easy(over a year later), but if you spray it before it's very dry it will just keep absorbing into the dip. They make a glossifier, but I didn't like it at all... Matter of fact here's a pic of the wheels plastied and cleared. FWIW, don't accidentally get tire shine on plasti dip, it lifts it right off for some reason... -
black or chrome

Black, but needs a clear coat sprayed over it, IMO. -
Those 05-06 duramaxs bring a pretty penny because they are the most powerful of their kind before the new emissions... Silly people with their SS HD trucks... lol.

Jeez, at all the stickers...

I nulled my vote... but I would've voted for the Canadian because of those black rims.

mixing diff. ohms subs
2001silverado364 replied to RaMoN_88_SS's topic in Radio/Electronics/Security
An x7, that's a pretty unique amp, but you're right. It's not a class D, so it's only 2 ohm stable. Never look at peak numbers, they don't really mean anything, it's like the advertised duration on a cam, when all that matters is duration at .050. You hook one cvx to that amp at two ohms and it won't last long. -
I heard a 2005 silverado ss was getting a tune and a vette servo, lol.

mixing diff. ohms subs
2001silverado364 replied to RaMoN_88_SS's topic in Radio/Electronics/Security
I actually like to run dual 4 ohms if I'm planning on running two and dual 2 ohms if I'm planning on running just one per amp. Most class D amps are 1 ohm stable. Of course, if you're using an A/B, it's probably better to do the opposite of that and run at 2 ohms. -
Sometimes unhooking the batt. for a while will let it reset and fix itself. But, sometimes the cd changer mechanism binds and has to be repaired or replaced. Every factory cd changer I have ever dealt with, will eventually have problems.

cl find!either the ss is really cool or not

The thing that disgusts me the most is the interior, it looks like they just poured bottles of armor-all all inside of it. -
Yeah, you're right, chrome is not overdone at all...

*They're* and good point.

Last pic I took was last night, mostly to see how the cam would do at dark, not good at all...

Damn, I thought mine was the only one that said "ss" on the brake fluid tank. Do all SSS's say that? I say paint the alt. black, as well. Plus the pin that holds the headlight on isn't clipped in it's holder and the brake fluid top is crooked.

That 06+ hood looks great with the 03-05 grille. Reminds me of a TBSS from the front. Not crazy for painted OEM wheels, though.

That's what I call working with what you have, wow.

Site glitch? Just curious. Anyone having this problem?
2001silverado364 replied to MARTYW's topic in General SS
Me neither, the biggest problem I have is when I post, it won't show up until I refresh, sometimes. Which leads to double posting, when I think I missed the post button the first time. -
