I've watched a bunch of the bearing test and which ever company is doing it there oil comes out on top. I got two buddy's that run late models that use rp and that's why I used it. They told me it was the best. Was there ever any actual test done on engine wear? I runned it in my 2500hd with a lq4 for about 5 years and never had a issue. What other oil is suppose to be better amsoil? I think you can't go wrong picking Mobil 1, royal purple or amsoil. No one around here Carries amsoil for me to try it out.

Be careful welding a nut to it. Weld for a sec then let cool, then weld again.

what makes it so bad? I've read a lot of good reviews on it.

A good pair of vise grips will take out the one that sticks out. The other one would have to be drilled. I have used a dragon rod before and got them out or you could very carefully weld a nut to it.

We'll I'm slowly gathering parts up for a small top end build. I want something that has a real good sound at idle. I plan on doing a converter to but idk what stall yet. I never tow and I just drive it on the weekends and around town. I want a cam that will give me the most out of this setup and get me down the track. Here's a list of my mods - tbss intake with 87mm tb ported and polished. -243 heads out of a 07 vette -around 11.1 cr -Arh 1 7/8 headers - full exhaust -electric fans -ngk tr6 plugs and msd wires -160 thermostat - tuned by zippy -also have some pushrods and scorpion rocker arms for the install I also might be going with a 100-150 shot of nitrous in the future.

I had pacesetter headers and really didn't like them. I bought the ARH 1 7/8 headers and really like them. It seemed like to me I picked up a few more ponies threw out the entire powerband.
