  1. Looks sweet! But I can't handle blue lights they make me nervous.
  2. How many miles on it? Mine has about the same amount of slack in the t-case. Pull the plug on front diff and check for chunks of metal or lager than normal shavings. I may be wrong but the way the coupler in the t-case is designed will cause it to have some normal slack. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I think what you have is normal wear on the gears, bearings ect. I wouldn't really worry about it myself. Until you have whine or other harsh noises. Something else you might want to try is get all four wheels off the ground and put it in drive and go under the truck and check it out.

  4. Pull the heads. There might be a vin on the motor? I'm not sure tho.
  5. They looks badass! I would never take them off. What's the part number on those rims and tire size if you don't mind me asking. I've been looking at those rims and can't figure out what I need.
  6. dam that's a lot. I can get a good built transmission for that.
  7. Mine dose the same thing. I think it's some what normal after a few thousand miles of wear. Most trucks I've drove in 4wd do the same thing. Could be a matter of several things get a little play or wear in it. Causing it to have some slack.
  8. I guess I'll wait on a shift kit and servos before I'll install it.
  9. Prob be better to find a used one. But my guess would be around 600-1000 maybe I guess it really depends on what all it needs. A used one with low miles could be had for 450-650.

  11. Well I picked up a slightly used yank ss 3600. I was wondering what you guys think about installing it before my cam swap. I won't be doing my cam swap for a while. What mods need to be done to the transmission before install besides a big cooler? I'd like to get this out of the way first since I don't want to tackle two big jobs at once.
  12. If the first fluid change made it worse . I don't think I'd change it again. Take it to a transmission shop and let them check it out.
  13. Yeah man I'd say you will be needing a tranny. I'm not 100% on that. Maybe some of these other guys will chime in.
  14. Did the fluid smell burnt and what did the fluid look like? Sounds like a bad tranny to me.
  15. I've never seen a plug that looked that bad.
  16. Do you run pump gas on 11.5 cr? I'm thinking of having my 243 heads milled to 60 cc.
