Best time was 8,72 in the 1/8. My reaction time was pretty bad every run around 1.2

I spent four hours on mine but I cut a lot of the metal away form in front off the blade and make it a straight shoot instead I'd that big hump.

You would have to cut your old grill out. Really can't see the old grill with the clamp on style.
