  1. I had the Kumho's taken off today and had Eagle LS2's installed. Everything is back to normal again...whew........ The Kumho's gave off a road noice that sounded to me exactly like a rearend gear going bad or a dry wheel bearing.....it was driving me crazy. That last thing I need to worry about is a new noise with all the mods I have done. For the track I wil get a set of 17's or 18's in the spring.
  2. It took me about 3 hours doin it by myself.
  3. I posted last week that I put a set of Kumho STX on my SS. After a week of driving on them I think they suck............ I had them forced balanced and they still suck. That was after I had a dealer check my ujoints cause I was getting a bad vibration. It was cold here today and I left my truck parked all day. When I left work to go home the steering wheel was shaking like they had flat spots on them. Here are my choices: 1. They still have my used Goodyear LS maybe i'll put them back on. 2. I have 1 band new goodyear LS, maybe I'll buy 3 more. 2. The suggested Michelin tires. What the concensus of these? Any suggestions? Remember I live in Michigan and need a good all season tire that still grips at the track.
  4. Damn just a cam swap got ya .8 tenths. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Cam, TBTC, & tuning to bring it all together
  5. The cam helped take me from a 13.37 to a 12.57
  6. I had mine done saturday for $ 44.95.
  7. 818-201-7492 is thier phone number. I'm not exactly sure what the conversion kit will run. I believe pricing is being finalized this weekend. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Are they a new company? I've never heard of thrm before?
  8. Does Under Pressure Motorsport have a website? How much is the kit going to sell for?
  9. I think its a great idea. I plan on doing the same........as soon as that guy on pt.net get that spacer plated for the radix finished
  10. I prefer my party trucks closer to the ground. It sucks getting drunk and forgetting about that first step...........
  11. I went to discount tire tonight to get my tires balanced. I noticed that they had a set of 305/50/20 Kumhos sitting there. I asked what was up with them and the salesman tells me that they were on a suv for a day and the guy didnt like them because they were to big. To make a long story short. I got all 4 mounted, balanced, siped with road hazard warranty out the door for $375.00.........
  12. Welcome to the site. I grew up in Broken Arrow, OK
  13. depends on the rim size . <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That whay I asked what the ideal WHEEL(RIM) and tire size would be ....lol
  14. What would be the ideal wheel and tire size for the track?
  15. I dont know why a trail blazer converter wouldn't work for you. Zippy might chime in with a comment.
  16. Here is the only video I have of a run. I think Frank has some more. MII Run
  17. I agree. I don't think a single one that has been installed is opening 100%. However a 90mm still should flow more than a 78mm even if it's not opening all the way. I wouldn't spend the money on the WCCH j-jube conversion, but i might do the BigTex conversion this winter. I already have a SSR 90mm tb, just need the tac module & speartec harness.
  18. Did you have t jtube conversion kit or did you modify your j tube?
  19. It was kinda unusual to see you preocuppied in that manner.....congrats......
  20. Update...... The M11 event was alot of fun. It was nice to meet other members from the site. I don't think we could have had better weather. My comments: Popeye, I was impressed with your times.. ImposterSS...If you can get your truck to hook you will be FAST. Zippy......Thanks for tweaking tunes while you were there. TJ......Nice to see ya man..... Frank.....Always good talking to you. I'll be seeing you this winter. Let's use this thread to post any pictures.
