  1. Ya, while your dreaming of 13's in an SSS im still dreaming about the day I get even a stock SSS, every time I see one on the road I get mad because that person has one and I dont... LOL I'm kidding, actually 2 of my friends own an SSS and another 2 own the TBSS so I guess I'm lucky in the sense that I get to at least ride in them. Maybe one day I'll get one. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This is the same way I feel except instead of a SSS, it a 06-27 Z06
  2. Carbonfiber driveshafts are nice, but may be a little exotic for your set up. I think an alluminum shaft would be just as good, less expensive, and give you a bit more performance, than your current junk yard shaft.
  3. I am not sure how many people were watching the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl. BUT DAMN, that was one of the best footbaal games I had ever seen
  4. I found this on a digitalcorvettes a while back. It is claimed to be the LS9 6.2L supercharged 650hp unit going into the super Z06 vette.
  5. I was thinking about using these metallic cats, but after seeing this, whatever happened to them, doesn't look good from a quality stand point. Looks like no cats for me. Do you know what the part # for the ceramic cats are ??
  6. Brad, From the specs you gave, I think you should be ok. There is a few more things you will have to know in order to figure it out. If you do a search over at ls1tech.com, you should find a ton of posts about this. A couple guys also give links or attachments for SCR/DCR calculators that you can use. I got mine from there
  7. If I can get my 408 running good by then, I will definitely come up there. I heard it the DA can be very good there during winter.
  8. Yeah, that's what I was thinking also. I found a new one on ebay, but needed to find another one. The dealer wanted 114.xx, and Gmpartsdirect wants 95.xx shipped, so I thought there had to be someone cheaper. I guess I will keep looking.
  9. Hey, I wanted to see if anyone knew a place to get O2 sensors cheap. I am looking for a 12572705 GM part #. Its the stock Denso for an 04 SS. My other question was if there was anyway to clean an O2 sensor without damaging it ?? Thanks
  10. I have a friend looking for a truck right now, but I know he can't spend 23,500. If you want PM your rock bottom, and I will see if he is interested. Do you also happen to have the parts all the stock parts, like suspension, etc. We are both also in Socal. Thanks
  11. How do they feel driving it ?? Is your truvk lowered at all ??

  13. I have the Innovate LM-1, I am not sure how I am going to hook it up to Hptuners yet, but I think there is a way
  14. Pretty good time for stockish. I think these truck respond to mods pretty well. I am sure you already but a tune would really help you out also.
  15. Send her to get a Brazilain wax Its a gift the whole family can enjoy On a serious note, custom perfume is a nice gift. I have used that on a few chicks, and it always seems to be a hit

  17. The Powercommander is awsome. You might wanna look into doing a full system, for power and weight savings. A 520 chain conversion, steelbraided brake lines and motul race fluid, are some cheaper things that make a difference
  18. Jon, That's pretty sweet, I bet your dad is really happy. Good christmas gift. Maybe you and your dad will come out to the California speedway event in January, I am hoping to have my truck done by then.
  19. That car will run mid 13's, so If you can beat that then you should be ok
  20. Yeah the codes would be sweet !!!!!!!!
  21. It kinda funny becuase GM has all this potential in the LS style motors, but they just can't seem to design parts for trannies to last very long
  22. I just sent a friend request, And I think there is a lot of people that have them on here. Just another way to communicate.
  23. The BOV only works when you let of the throttle and the intake manifold sees vacuum (not under boost). The vacuum will open the BOV and release unused boost in front the the throttle body. This is to prevent a surge when throtte is appied again. Chances are it is not the BOV unless you installed it backwards.
  24. Did you ET get better or just the 60' ?? What times/mph did you run ??
