  1. Maybe show him the KBB report. I can't see if it has a sun roof, But with leather, Bose, 6 disc, Tow package, I get $17,744 in Excellent Condition. But you know it has a scratch or dent or something to take it out of that category as 3% or less fall into that category. Very Good condition shows $16,747.

Now to me, If he had the original COA I would be willing to pay a little more as that can not be duplicated and they will not provide any one with that info. They were sent to the original owners only and that was it. There is no list or records floating around to figure out which number it was in the production series.

After looking at production numbers, It looks like the DEI package was the the highest selling SS package in 2006 despite it's limited number and only being sold 1 year. They sold more DEI SS trucks than Standard Black SS trucks.

Yeah i had talked to him a few months back and he said no COA, so with 105k miles and no COA, selling for 20k+ like i said he's out of his mind, then he told me that this truck is not in the bluebook now for someone to tell me that is absurd it clearly has the intimidator package on there sent him a picture of it and he still denied when i clearly proved him wrong but hey i don't think he'll sell it good luck to him

  2. haha yeah guys that guy is crazy and way over his head, at one point he had it up on craigslist for 38,000 lol, a truck with that mileage and the initmidator package is worth around 16k but this guy i've been in contact before with him and he said he won't take anything less than 20k

  3. The one in Sacramento was listed on Ebay at one point. I believe He had the COA for the truck shown in the auction.

Another member on here bought a truck with like 21 miles on it or something low like that. Original owner wanted 40K for it. He finally ended up selling it for less.

Yeah i noticed, it just happens man, even with time an it being a limited edition truck it still goes down in value once it's off the lot, it's like buying a srt-10 and wanting to sell it for the msrp price it's just not worth it, if anybody wants a good idea of what a car is worth just go to the blue book every sports model is in there even if somebody says it isn't

  4. Hello fellow ss members, over the past month I am in California and i've been searching high and low for a 2006 Silverado SS Intimidator. I've been looking for one on Autotrader.com, Carsforsale.com, Cars.com, and Craigslist.com but so far no luck and if I do find one it's either already sold but they forget to take the ad down or it's WAY overpriced for the milage.I need your guys help to find a nice one average milage, preferably in California if you help me with this i have a Sony stereo receiver that i bought but never used still in box, Thanks!

  5. Man, that's a toughie. Price is literally what one cost new. I'd be working extra hard to verify that super low mileage is accurate and there are no damage records on it. Why is the check engine light on? - EDIT - nevermind on the check engine light, you can tell from the tach being at zero the engine isn't running.

No sunroof isn't that odd. My ISS doesn't have one either.

You would think someone trying to get 40K for a truck would do a better job of posting an ad...with some quality pictures. Or, would sell it through some other means - a super low mile limited edition truck? You almost think it would go through a live auction instead.

I guess the one big advantage you have here is that it's local enough for you to check it out in person and decide for yourself.

    Richard

yeah, i think i'm gonna take a look at it, since i'm so close by but what would you pay for an intimidator with this low of a milage, I would only justify paying about 30k especially since the credit unions won't give you more than what the car is actually worth, my credit union gave me a 6 percent interest rate i'm positive that individual will accept that offer or what's your take on it Richard?

  6. I found this intimidator here it's in sacramento just wanted to get some opinions, of how much this truck is worth to you or based on the milage and the rarity, the truck says it comes with a certificate of authenticity saying its a real intimidator, no sunroof which is odd because i thought all intimidators came with a sunroof but oh well either way not a big fan of sunroof, in the blue book it says it's worth 28,000 in excellent conditon, as of now this one only has 1,500 miles, you guys think it's a risk paying that much or is it really worth that much?

  7. nope spread the word around NOBODY buy this intimidator i tried talking the dealer down and the guy was like nope it is what it is and i asked him to send a picture of the undercarriage and he pretended like he didn't hear me over the phone, very bad customer service and trying to hide the fact that the undercarriage was completely rusted no wonder this truck has been up for like 3 months and hasn't sold, every intimidator i see up usually sells within a week

  8. They salt the chit out of roads in the mid west. If it was driven in the winter at all your going to have rust issues. I would run as it's not going to get better. There wasn't many iss so your going to have to keep looking. All the iss I have seen fall into too buckets... No miles and big money or worn out and somewhat cheap. Heck most Silverado SS fall into same buckets.... So if your looking for the middle your going to have to keep looking I think you will eventually find what your looking for but I would steer clear of salt state rigs.... Just my 2 cents.

yup you were right, check this out, how dare they sell this??

  9. i asked them to send a picture of the undercarriage, but just because theres rust on the hitch doesnt mean the undercarriage is rusted too those areas are common for rust to come up, otherwise the truck looks great if the undercarriage is good then i'll purchase it, thinking about putting flowmaster on it and a custom stereo

  10. Looking for some opinions out there i am in California, this truck is in Wisconsin its an Intimidator with 88k miles, i know the mileage is a bit high but i really want an intimidator and i can't find one in California for a reasonable price, my question is the truck is basically 20k with taxes and transport it's gonna come out to 23k straight, do you guys think it's worth it? i personally think it's worth it i mean it's limited edition and with the leather interior not bad, only flaw i see is the rust on the towing hitch
