  1. Wondering if you got those headers sent out? PM sent
  2. I can say one thing, It's not over.
  3. I had no idea that this topic was going to be so popular. However, I do hear talk about myspace wherever I go. From the radio to people sitting at the next table over from you at a restaurant. I was eating at a mexican restaurant the other night and I overheard the poeple sitting near us. One said to the other, "you hooked up from a girl from myspace?" the other guy was like.."Yeah", "Did you know her?", "No, I just met her on myspace." It seems like everyone is either on myspace or at least talking about it.
  4. sweet link, as long as they work I will spend the money. I have a call into them after hours so I will see what they say when they call me back. thanks for the link <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ask for Harry
  5. I was just wondering how many of you have a myspace page. I said that I wasn't going to get one, but like a lot of other people I broke down and made one. This is my page http://www.myspace.com/n2opwr
  6. I wish my fuel gauge went up instead of down when I drive my truck.

    oops.

Car and Driver Magazine did the same thing when the Jeep Liberty's came out. They did it on accident when testing the handling.
  8. I got the brakes from you today! Exactly as described and pictured, Brand New! I got the Hawk brake pads like you suggested too. Thanks!
  9. I've painted mine. They come off fairly easy. You will need to drill out the plastic rivets that hold the grills in so you can paint everything evenly. I'm sure you can buy new rivets to reinstall the grills, but I used nuts, blots and washers to reinstall mine. The only thing I would do any differently would use a better paint. I used some generic paint that I already had and I would use plasti-kote next time around. http://www.plastikote.com
  10. I have already watched that video no less than 20 times and I have been having all of my friends watch it. I'm fairly sure the mufflers are disconnected because it blows the straps out from underneath the car. If it was blowing out the mufflers/tailpipes I feel the air would be blowing over the top of the straps. The car sounds very mean. I think the video clip of the silver vette doing a walk around has the same cam. It has the same lope, just not nearly as loud.
  11. "My name is 04CHASE and I have just been OVERHAULED." Those flames do look like Mile Lavallee flames from Killer Paint. http://www.killerpaint.com/
  12. I had a 1999 Silverado and I broke the power steering pump shaft. I was a little confused b/c the belt was still on and I could see the pulley and shaft spinning, but no power steering. The shaft had broke on the inside of the pump. Maybe that is your problem. Mine broke after slinging a real quick donut in the grass. I don't remember how many miles it had on it, but I do know it was still under warranty at the time.
  13. This is me on my last birthday. I had a little too much fun and needed to take a little nap.
  14. If you would be interested in selling your gauge pod and gauges, please PM me.
  15. There are a few guys out there doing that conversion. Summit used the same AWD when they built the Quadra Duece.
  16. I bought the custom fit wires, you cut them to length. Taylor only sells the LT1 wires in a 8mm version and I wanted BIGGER wires. I used LT1/LS1 boots and I had to drill them out in order to fit over the 10.4mm wires. As a whole, I'm happy with everything.
  17. According to the emblems on the door, I guess it's a 2500 too. I need to slap some Duramax emblems on my truck and then I would have a diesel, it's that easy. Didn't you guys know that's how it works?
  18. The whipple supercharger sits right above the passenger side valve cover, so it will interfere with the coil packs on the pass side with the way I have them right now. I do have some slack in the plug wires so once I have the supercharger mounted I hope they will be long enough when I move the coil packs. I may have to put them under the supercharger. I have to do things in stages since this is my daily driver and I just wanted to go ahead and get the valve covers on. I guess that's all part of hot rodding, especially when you are mixing and matching parts.
  19. UPDATE: I finshed both sides. The only problem that I'm running into is there is a small vibration right around 2000 rpm's from the coil packs. Because there hanging out over both sides of the intake the vibration is magnified. I guess I'm going to have to add some kind of support brace to the bottom of them. I'm also going to make some kind of engine cover to cover the top of the intake to help clean/cover things up a little.
  20. What does he want for his truck?
  21. I booked my room at http://www.shoresresort.com/ yesterday. I booked it on Expedia and it was just over $400.00 for three nights with tax and everything. I think this is a pretty good deal considering how nice it is . I am driving my SS down , so maybe I will run into some of you guys. I going down on WED and coming back on SAT.
