A little off topic, but instead of starting another new home theater thread, I thought I would just ask here. Anyways, I just recently purchased my 58" Panasonic Plasma along with a Panamax line conditioner (M5300-PM). My question is do I need to leave the line conditioner on all the time or do I need to turn it off? Common sense tells me that in order to have my equipment protected, it needs to be on all the time. I just want to make sure. If you can believe it, I can't get an answer on an AV forum!

I'm not hating on the Lakers, their game speaks for itself. They are soo inconsistent, all of them! One day Kobe scores alot, next day he doesn't score sh*t. One day Odom is basically invisible, then he catches fire. I mean c'mon, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that the Lakers need to be running on ALL cylinders to beat Boston. It almost seems the opposite for Boston. The last game, Pierce and Garnett were no shows yet they still found a way to only loose by six and that game could have gone either way. Kobe can't do it all like some might want to think. Like I said, I'd like to see the Lakers do it, but their back is against the wall BIG TIME! That same intensity they played with the first half yesterday is what they'll need for the next three games in order to win IMHO.

What a mess the Lakers are! I mean really, how can any Lakers fan come up with any type of excuse for this loss? Pierce said it best at the end of the game, they imposed THEIR game on the Lakers. I'm a Raiders fan so I know how it is to be a mess, but I don't make excuses for any losses. If they lost, they lost, plain and simple! If the Raiders had a 24 point lead and lost the game, well they suck elephant balls, straight up! Seems like the Lakers are in the same boat. At least Odom stepped up his game, that guy was on fire and he wasn't in foul trouble. I'd like to see the Lakers pull it out now just for the sake that no team has ever come back from a 3-1 deficit. That would definately be something to see. It's all good Lakers fan, make sure you still fly those flags.

I'm no Lakers or Celtics fan, but if the Lakers don't step it up a notch, Boston is going to take it. The Lakers as a whole looked like dog shiat last night. Kobe carried that team to victory along with homeboy with the gel in his hair with his three pointers. With Pierce and Garnet not doing a damn thing last night, I wonder how the Lakers only won by six. Odom might as well be sitting on the bench since all he does is foul and miss dunks! C'mon now, three games with foul trouble??? Someone needs to tell him this ain't street ball! He really needs to step up his game. I just feel like the Celtics are hungry as hell for the Championship. Of course it didn't look like it last night. If Pierce and Garnet were running on all cylinders along with Allen, the Celtics would be up three games easy. All Boston has to do is win one here and it's over IMHO. Like I said, I'm no Lakers fan, I'll cheer for the home team, but they really need to come together if they plan on winning this thing.

My last two digits of my SSN are 01 so I should have recieved that check already, but I haven't. Specific information about your Stimulus Payment is not available." I read that it needed to be at least 6 weeks after I filed to recieve the check. I mailed my taxes right before April 15. Is it when they recieved it or when they cashed my payment checks since I owed? If anyone has a clue or knows of someone I can talk to, please fill me in. My backyard is waiting on that check!

Your gonna end up with alot more oil left than cleaner as well. I think I have about 4 oil cans and like one cleaner.

So now that Summer is approaching and my backyard is getting finished I'm in the market for a new LP grill. I've been doing a fair amount of research since this is being bought for me from my wife and daughter for Father's Day. I've been to the usual Lowes, Home Depot, Sears, bla, bla, bla and they pretty much have the same things. A few things I've read/heard that I should take into consideration is: - Teflon coated grates - Even cooking surface A few of the things I want are a side burner (not a searer), ALOT of space to place cooking trays and such when grilling, maybe even a condiment tray, stainless steel finish, electronic ignition, mobility, cooking surface since we entertain ALOT, etc. I've also taken into consideration the name of the grill. I want something that has been around for a while and if I need some parts, they are readily available. Weber is something I am closely looking at, but they are very pricey. The one I would want falls into the $1600.00 range and that is damn pricey. So let's hear the reviews of what you have!

Best mod is probably gonna be the Alpine IVA-D310 and 5.1 surround sound. It allows me to watch DVD's at work and my daughter to watch her DVD's. I wouldn't say worst, but my bed cover always keeps me from using the SSS as a truck.

R-134B???? Newer vehicles???? My wifes Yukon is an 06' which is newer than my 04' SSS and it said R-134A under the hood. Are you sure?

I always use my AC and now that SoCal is getting hit with a heat wave, it seems like my AC doesn't blow cold or it takes a while to get going. In comparison to my wifes 06 Yukon XL, mine SUCKS! The Yukon blows hella cold fast. Anyways, I went to Auto Zone to buy some oil to change the in the Yukon and also bought a charge kit. It came with a bottle of freon (R-134a with Sub-Zero synthetic A/C booster) I assume and a guage. Has anyone ever done this and was it worth it? The kit was about $30.00 so it's not a big loss. I was just wondering if anyone has had any great results. Also, it says to connect it to the low side of the system. Can anyone direct me to that port?

I had this happen to me and it wasn't a big deal. All that was needed was to trace where the parking brake wire met up with the bracket underneath the dash to release it. After a few times I was a pro and didn't need to even look under there anymore. I finally took it in to get it fixed about a month ago.
